  • How can david cameron support this idea and then put in his manifesto...

"They [Labour] have launched endless initiatives and top-down schemes which have made little difference.... We can't go on with the police filling in forms instead of fighting crime."

Surly this idea contradicts his policy of giving the police less 'form filling'

However I do love the idea of Boris trotting down to the met and saying "Listen here chaps, this is a jolly good idea so how about it what-ho?"

  • crime mapping so if I want to live in a certain area and I cant afford to due to high house prices alls I have to do is mug someone and burn out car on that street and it will take a couple of grand off the price....nice one dave

  • It's a real shame that David Davis stepped down as he would have made an ace Home Secretary.

  • @Dendiol Too right. Chris Grayling, although he's a safe pair of hands, is no David Davis.

  • Its more than frustration; its anger

  • I am warming to the party on the issue of crime. I am utterly sick of Labour ineffectiveness and the Lib Dems standing up for criminals. I have never voted Tory and a few years ago wouldn't have even considered it, but this is an issue I am deeply pationate about; I know firsthand the stress and mental anguish crime causes. If there was a general election just on this topic, my vote would go tory.

  • interesting "hard luck" says David Davis aka Mr Liberty? now Cameron wants to create a new border police my god hes eager to please

  • DAVID DAVIS - TOP MAN

  • Locking people up without evidence is itself a crime against humanity. Labour are diabolical and disgusting to do it.

David Davis is a champion of the people who want to preserve the rights of citizens and help end the big brother nightmare created by Labour.

  • The Big Brother nightmare created by Labour? I don't think Labour is responsible for Big Brother, that's Channel 4. David Davis a champion of the people!!!??? Errrm, the Tories have nothing but contempt for anyone who isn't a millionaire. It's the Tories that opposed the minimum wage, remember?

  • Yuur really deluded hahah. Didnt your Messaiah recently purchase a 4 million pound house with his so called advocate of liberty for all lawyer book writing attention seeking fame obsessed wife who believes in voodoo people to steer hers and her war criminal husband.

And HE peace envoy to the Middle East. What an insult to everyone in the middle east. The man responsible for the slaughter of tens of thousands of innocent babies.. You should calm down on the Kiiol aid.

  • It's a shame that David Davis thinks the rights of a handful of terrorist suspects not to be detained for 42 days, is somehow more important than the rights of innocent people not to be blown up by islamofascist suicide bombers. When will politicians wake up and start taking the measures needed to keep our country safe from humanity-hating fascist extremists?

  • you f'ing moron!

  • Its not about the rights of a few terror suspects. Dave Davis decision is wholly about liberty for all citizens of this country and is out of sheer principle. If you would give up liberty for an illusion of temporary security you deserve neither. This Marxist obsessed government we currently have has been chipping away at our liberties since sep 11 2001. The 42 day law is major step in the UK becoming a dictatorship

quite frankly if you cant see that now you never will.

  • Of course it's just about a few terror suspects! And your comment that it's a major step in the UK becoming a dictatorship is just so immature I'm guessing you're about 13 years old. In any event, the 42 day proposals include so many safeguards and judicial oversight that there is no danger of abuse of this law. You say 'give up liberty' - your arguments are so absurdly black/white, 'all or nothing', simplistic and naiive, and totally misrepresent the proposals. Reality is more complex.

  • Oh Please, human nature doesnt change and if you cared to read some history you would see a pattern. Dont so arrogant in to thinking our age and generation are somehow more enlightened.

Did the conservatives EVER curb your liberty because of the IRA threat? NO they didnt because quite simply the conservative ideology believes in Liberty. The Leftists Marxist doctrine believe in brainwashing and state control of every individual which you seem to embrace. Fear as a major tactic they use. USSR!

  • You again! It's not yours or my liberty that would be curbed under the 42 day rule, get that myth out of your head! It's terrorist suspects that would be detained for up to 42 days. Don't blindly buy into David Davis' half-baked 'logic' (ie muddled and self-serving arguments to boost his own status after he lost to David Cameron in the leadership election, a defeat he can't get over)

  • Yes last time because your Marxist brainwashed mind has become tedious.

Socialists despise people with intelligence, tahts what strikes me about them./you

Before I sneak off in to my caviar and champagne dungeon I just want to say that like all Marxists you cannot participate in a straight debate. It ALWAYS comes down to personal attacks and irrelevance. never a damn thing about stuff that really matters like Europe and the referendum we were promised. I cannot promised.

    You believe Liars!!

  • hey VVendettaz, don't stop messaging me just yet! You're quite witty and have a way with words. I'm intrigued where u get the idea i'm a Marxist. I voted for Margaret Thatcher when I was 18 so I can't be a Marxist. As for your other post about Tony Blair, its Saddam and the insurgents responsible for mass slaughter. OK the USA has messed up big time, but it's Islamic fanaticism that's the main problem. Hopefully Obama will be a more intelligent president.

  • You said

"Its Saddam and the insurgents responsible for mass slaughter"

Ok thats 15,000 me 0.0001 you

    You also mentioned

"I voted for Margaret Thatcher when I was 18 so I can't be a Marxist"

Well at 18 masturbating in darkened rooms was the epitome of your worldly experience. And while you thought you were gaining all knowingness when the war criminal T Blair was in power you were in fact being brainwashed.

Im the opposite. With a tear in my eye 1997 I voted TB. Im deeply sorry/ashamed!

  • Hehe see you're a true Youtuber getting into the spirit of personal insults - masturbating in a darkened room at 18 the epitome of my worldly experience - haha! - yes that's a good one.

War criminal TB? That's outrageous. Tony had the courage to confront tyranny in several parts of the world. To prefer democracy to tyranny is not the result of brainwashing, it's just plain decency.

You should be proud of voting for Blair in 1997, Labour was the best option then & still is.

    3 nil to me!

  • Isnt it ironic the so called liberal labour sociailists have become the enemies of all citizens liberties.

When your 25 you might understand although I doubt it. BTW, thats my last comment, anyone that votes for themselves have criminal tendencies..OOPS, sounds a bit like labour doesnt it.

  • VVendettaz, thanks for another muddled and contradictory message! What is ironic is that so many people are more willing to make life easier for criminals, terrorists and tyrannical regimes than they are to safeguard democracy, justice, and the rule of law.

  • "But frankly, hard luck" - a politician who actually says it's right that the public sector is made accountable and dares to take that to its natural conclusion. I hope he becomes Shadow Home Secretary again once he's won the by-election.

  • You will get it right, bring back National Service, but, for 16 year olds.

  • At last...the Tories are on the way back...can't wait for the next general election - it can't come a day too soon for me. I'm so looking forward to seeing the back of the Labour party...Tony, now Gordon (who, in fairness, has more morale fibre than Tony ever had), Ken...sick of the very sight of them & IMO they've brought this country to their knees. Just hope the Tories can deliver

  • And they are all SO UGLY.

  • Its a simple idea if you have the mindset of a leader of the opposition - Running the country is v different

  • if this creep is so keen on these new york ideas then why the fuck doesn't he fuck off and become mayor there? he was born there. but even the yanks arn't stupid enough to vote for DORISS

  • At least you can say this on the conservative youtube channel. The Labour one you can't say anything against them!

  • Very good Mr Cameron. it is a really good idea :)

  • After a bit of research, I think this is a very good idea, it will help direct police to areas with high crime rates, help catch serial offenders and also tell us where anti-criminal devices such as CCTV should be erected. However, as these maps should be made public, this policy must, as Mr Davis said, be introduced along with a massive reduction in redtape -- it's not fair to bring in a measure which could increase public scrutiny of the Police without freeing them to do their job.

  • Why shouldn't this information be available to the community. Maps are a terrific way to show trends in crime. Just look at Spotcrime in the U.S.

  • Now we can get the TRUTH rather than the watering down and ,the hiding under the carpet,of all crime.

  • Is this how the Daily Mail gets its news for the day, its all about scarring the people, and will you give the police staff to do this work? How about finding the £114 million lost from the better homes budget H&Fulham lost due to its poor service. And lets face it Mr C you do not like Boris one little bit how hypocritical can you get.

And in answer to Tonydalonly yes they did belong to that club and have they paid for there actions NO.

  • Cameron used to belong to the Burlington Club. Didn't they go out wrecking restaurants and clubs every weekend ie committing crime. Oh and what about the fact that he refuses to deny he took cocaine. If you want to crime map. Just find out where the tories live.

  • it feels like its getting worse yester day on me way bk from liverpool just walking to my stop and geting my bus i feelt very scred bager on the train station and rawing youps i just feel like how are we going to get out of this messe

  • You need to go back to SKOOL !

  • I def agree with this people will know how bad their areas are what precautions to take such as more security on homes etc, police will get more support as people can request where they feel more officers are needed I never see a police officer around when I feel feared because of 5-10 youths at my local shop during the 90's under the conservatives you actually saw a local bobby on the beat but no its rare Labour are boasting saying their sorting that it's just trying to get votes then will stop

  • It shouldn't be available *only* online -- it's not fair to assume that everybody has/wants internet access.

But the basis of it is an excellent idea. I think people will follow these maps compulsively in keeping an eye on local crime. Please *publicise* it well so that people actually know they can get these maps once/if they're available.

By the way, way to go with the fake planted questions. The woman asking the questions in this video is the same one who always follows Webcameron around.

  • I so hope Boris wins. Ken Livingstone never had much steam in terms of successful policy - only in money grabbing.

I think transport and crime are clearly the two main causes of areas going downhill or uphill. In a safe community with good transport links in a place like London its almost impossible that it would not be developed and sought after.

Also lower REPORTING of crime doesn't always mean crime is dropping on the street itself. So it's about a sense as much of security.

  • and Ken has nothing to offer. Only in the last 12 months (maybe 15 months) - election year, did suddenly outer boroughs start to see cops on the street. Waw, big surprise.

Even then many don't crack down on petty crime as the policy is more relaxed which clearly opens the door for harsher crimes. If you tollerate a small amount of anti-social behavior of various kinds you'll find yourself getting a big amount soon enough.

  • Boris Johnson is a Zionist tool.
