you know when you jump you go faster? If you were alrdy doing it, i didn't notice it. But good video, i'm trying to get better at speed runs, and this helps a lot.

In Hl2 Epsiode 2, you don't go faster if you jump. The fastest way to move is using ABH. ABH can be used in this and in Portal.

Where would you do a prop jump? You cannot get to any other location on the map because its all walled off until it finishes that intro sequence where she is looking at the Citadel, that reverb happens and the metal chain-linked fence breaks off. Its at 2:19 in this video. You can't get anywhere else until that happens.

There's no need to fix the jumping because it is humanly impossible to tap the space bar that fast. What speed runners usually use is a bunny hop program.

No, i didnt do HL2DQ. Jesus christ. It took the work of like half a dozen people's speed run segments to do HL2DQ. I have my name in the credits under 'Tricks' as DemonStrate (its the name i use for video games), but i didnt do any of the segments for HL2DQ.

Nope, that aint no speed run, thats cheating if anyone exploits the bug where you can fly using objects in half life it is no longer a speed run it is simply cheating. To do a speedrun you must do the game as fast as possible withought using major bugs to your advantage...bad video

You almost had the definition of speedrun. Its "to play-through a game to complete a game as fast as possible." There is no line between using bugs or not in a game. The definition's connotation can include 'by whatever means necessary.' They make a line between TAS (Tool-assisted speedrun) and a normal speedrun (no tools used), but there is also a line between what a tool is also.

"noclip" or "impulse 101" are cheats. Flying simply is a glitch. And btw it's not that easy to fly as it seems.

I know about the fly it is very hard however you are wrong cheats are not simply combinations to type it is "cheating" when you do some trick and stuff not appropiate for the game like using a macro to run and jump at the same time with speed that a normal man cannot do!Stuff like that that makes it easier not just noclip...

This stuff is humanly possible, it just takes longer. Also, people use glitches all the time in games, such as SSBM with wavedashing which has become a standard to do in tournaments. Just because the game makers didnt intend for it to happen, doesnt make it any less valid.
