Lol, it looks nothing like the Altima. Just becuase they are the parent company does not mean they are the same car. Two completly different design styles and quality. I can only agree in that the new foglights give the G37 a little distinction to both facelifted Nissan and Infiniti vehicles but other then that the car is one eniterly different car in terms od design, performance and quality.

@EvenSteven2004 Well, my brother owns a 2010 Altima. So I'm pretty sure the 2 cars look pretty much nothing alike besides the sweeping design which can be seen on the bumper and hood. But that is more or less it. If anything, the Altima strives to look/perform like the G37, not vise-versa.

Not much changed, the new front is sharp. not sure i like the fog light placement, looks like its sticking out a bit. would've loved to see more aggressive set of wheels(like the 2011 m37s).

I thought the same thing cause i felt my 2009 G37 was now outdated now, but they are honestly the exact same cars, just a different front fascia. To be honest with myself, I really like the new G37 sedan, it is no longer to safe looking, its really aggressive and more luxurious with the new front face lift. I still love my 09 G37 regardless. Looking forward for the next generation Infiniti G, I believe it will debut in 2012 if I'm not mistaken.

@Johncarson9113, well that is obviously your opinion. To me (and others who have already agreed), it looks more like an Altima sedan. In fact, it reminds me of the way the Lexus ES looks very similar to a Camry. In the same sort of way, the new G37 sedan looks very similar to an Altima sedan.

@Huntersome, of course Nissan owns Infiniti. But that doesn't mean they should make their "premium" branded Infiniti line of vehicles look so similar to their Nissan siblings. This car looks just as much like an Altima sedan, even more so than the way a Lexus ES looks like a Toyota Camry, and those two vehicles are VERY similar and built on the same exact platform.

@vk45de, yeah okay. The only problem with that theory is that the 5 series and the G20 are made by two completely different companies. The Infiniti sedan and the Altima are made by the same company, which isn't surprising if you consider the incredible resemblance between the two cars.
