coldo2, you're right. I posted about how funny Dan Murnan was when I was on ARS once. I received the most sobering reply I've ever had. A wonderful woman who knew Dan when she was in told me

"no it's not funny, it's tragic. Dan used to be so friendly, so caring. It's heartbreaking to see him behaving this way".

I've never looked at scientologists the same way again. I really feel sorry for Dan.

When he was picketing Mark's house he reminded me so much of the young fellows that tag along behind my husband and friends as they work on, or race, cars. A great follower, if you will. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Dan gave up all outside interests in order to fit in with the group.

I'm over-welmed to hear news dispelling the rumors of Dan Murnan's death. He genuinely seemed like a guy who had a heart of gold that was getting manipulated. Behind Dan's Poker face on that day he picketed Mark's house, was a face that looked to me as if you could almost see him wanting to debate scientology... to open up, to ask questions. Seems Scientology has seen to that...

If you were to say that's enough no more to the church, you had your own home. Granted I dealt with a Christian Church calling itself deliverance and it takes a while to get them to leave you alone. Its funny, of all the videos i have ever seen of Mr. Murnan, I always get the same vibe. It's like he's needs a friend or a pal or something. I actually feel kinda sorry for the poor guy. You can see it in his eyes. It feels like maybe everyone who he had ever put trust in had betrayed him or hurt him, maybe his close family, maybe abandoned, put up for adoption, abused or something. I don't know, i'm not a psychic. But, i do recognise pain, and than man has alot of pain inside of him.

Of all the OSA handlers in all the XenuTV episodes I've watched, I've always thought Dan Murnan seemed like a nice guy. My opinion changed a lot when I saw him picketing at Mark Bunker's home, but even then he seemed to regret what he was doing. It's hard to tell.

I guess it only goes to show that Scientologists are no different than any of us. Some are great people, some are assholes. Some even get caught up in bad situations. That's life I guess.

If you are reffering to the part i think you are reffering ands she was reffering to the time i think she was (heheh), i dont know their names, but xenutv has a 5 part video on it. Its some kind of convention where they had all kinds of people chatting around a table, and tory and her friend gave an insight into scientology before the discussion. It was interesting precisely because of the dialogue with the scientologists, which i dont see very often. Ill try to find it for you.
