In my opinion I can't see no sense on get an Elise and install a turbo on it, existing the Exige... in fact Exige's engine (Toyota's VVT-i) is far best engine than Elise's one (Rover).
Anyway, I love those cars, people think that car's weight doesn't matter... they just haven't try one of these! :D
I don't know why more people don't get these. Probably hard to find dealerships but these cars are sick. They look like a 150 thou car but they're really not that expensive
@itsgaythatyourgay, its cause their hard to live with like on a daily type shit cause their hard to get used to i guess ive only seen one on the road by me ever, but i agree their fucking beasts lol
you all are fucking stupid! its an elise and it has a GUT wing on it. i know because i have an elise with that wing! just because a elise has a wing does not make it an exige. all of you dont know shit about lotus!
I jump in my turbocharged car on 28*F mornings, fire it up and drive away. That little bit of revving isn't going to hurt anything. My last turbocharged car had over 100k on the odo. and it ran top notch w/ compression well within service limits. It was never "warmed up" before driving away.
The way they're reving it the pison sleeves are getting scratched up, also leaving much unburned gas in the exhaust causing it to ignite in the catalytic converter in turn melting the emission filter. Engines were designed to be revved under load. When it is in nuetral the engine can speed up too quickly, because it does not have the mass to balance and push against, causing it to vibrate violently and can cause extreme stress and excess friction (scratches in the piston sleeve). Dumbasses
Is that K20 or K24 engine?

The Exige is a hardtop PERIOD
It clearly says ELISE on the back of the car.
There is no more argument.
