This is absolutely spectacular.Incredibly brave of Belinda,to take on an eternal EPIC of chanson.Despite being a standard,this is so legendary that its mythic proportions need to be handled with almost religious reverence.BC accent has some American touches,but she has clearly worked so hard,that it is highly convincing.Her treatment is beautifully delicate,showing an immensely touching respect.The production pays a haunting tribute,which is powerfully moving.Such a beautiful surprise.

Dalida and the emotion in her voice is pretty untouchable: I think Belinda herself would agree however I think she does a fantastic job at doing her own version: Lots of people have made a mess of Avec Le Temps - especially non native speakers.

Saw Belinda on NYEve, all in French, mostly XLNT to Vgood, some over-drama tho. Got the CD, hate it.  All sounds like she's in agony. Voice and French in great shape but production lacks.

Belinda is a fantastic artistic, with an amazing back catalogue and I wonder how many "young and current " artists we will still be talking about in 20 years. Belinda has had a long career from her punk roots to a french language album. Your comment smacks of our grapes whereas, like a fine red wine, Ms Carlisle matures and only gets better.
