  • richard burton is the best henry VIII...great video!

  • @Lukasz21222 Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I agree with you, Richard Burton was absolutely amazing as Henry!

  • BEST VIDEO EVER!!!!!!!

  • @kisha1682 Thank you! :)

  • my favorite by far very well done and orchestrated beautifully.

  • @faerydustcollector Thank you very much for your kind comment!

  • I agree. Natalie Dormer is the best actress, but I like Genevieve Bujold too. She is just genius!

  • @funnyygirl9, I disagree with Natalie Dormer.Maybe if they put some dark contacts on her, I probably would of warmed up to her.Anne Boleyn had those flashing black eyes, and Natalie Dormer had BLUE! For some reason, that was a thorn in my side. And I didn't like the way she moved her mouth.I've seen Natalie Dormer in other things that I liked her in, but I prefer Genevieve Bujold, if I had to pick between the two of them.

  • @ProudKansan08 Dormer may not look like Anne but she gave to her life. Also JRM looks nothing like Henry but his acting was very good .She was the cause that I became interested to Anne.Bujold has also to be my favorite Anne, she is really good. The 'worst' Anne has to be Portman not because of her acting but due to the fact that The Other Boleyn Girl is not a must Boleyn movie to watch for Boleyn fans...

  • Genevieve Bujold was fantastic, but I prefer Natalie Dormer.

  • when was henry v welsh

  • this verson of anne made me love the woman, her strength and courage is always a inspration to me and makes me proud to be a woman!

  • Good job. Very nice video.

  • the actress that plays Anne is so pretty.

  • @dawnye1 I agree too.

  • So beautiful! You put together the beginning of their relationship so well. The story of Anne and Henry is so captivating and she was such a brave spririt that it is not hard to believe that she kept Henry VIII at bay for six years. Thank you for the great video and I look forward to more videos just like this one!

  • @phantomslittlelottie Thank you very much! I absolutely agree with everything you said about Anne! She was such an extraordinary brave and intelligent woman. She never stops fascinating me.

  • All in all 1000 days.... x

  • Wonderful tribute !!! I love Anne Boleyn's personality. For a woman of that Era...she sure was Strong !!! Queen Anne <3 and her daughter Elizabeth I <3

  • Before I say anything let me me just say that was one of the best vidio tributs to Henry and anne's love for one another, ever!!!

I haven't actually seen this film, I can't seem to find it anywhere (but my search for it is not over) but what i've seen of it so far on youtube looks excallent> No doubt that Genevieve Bujold plays portrays Anne Bolyen very well! She really brings her to life!!!

  • Love the beginning! -

"If some young man wrote a song to you, Anne, what would you say?" "I would ask him how his wife liked it, Your Grace."

Your tribute was lovely! Genevieve Bujold truly graced the screen as Anne...she was fantastic and this is a great movie.

  • Thank you very much! It's an awesome line, isn't it? I think it's very likely the real Anne would have said something like that, outspoken and quick-witted as she was. :)

You are absolutely right about Geneviève and the movie! For me, she always will be the best Anne on screen and the film will always be one of my favourites! Imo, Richard Burton also gave a top-notch performance! And I absolutely love Georges Delerue's magnificent score!

  • @LadyViolet7 I think Natalie Dormer was more like the real Anne, repelled and attracted and then holding out for so long, but I think she really loved him...after a while

  • This performance and screenplay do justice to the real woman. Anne did not fall into Henry's arms. Indignant at being managed by him and her family, she held him at bay for six years, and did not

settle for less than marriage and the crown.

  • Amen to that! That's one reason why I prefer AotTD over all other movies about her!

  • Thank you for your nice comment, craigtyrell!

  • Awesome Video!!! Anne of the Thousand Days is one of the best movies in the history of cinema! The way Anne is portrayed magnificent. Her beauty and boldness are almost unearthly. Genevieve does an amazing job as Anne. She's a very powerful actress.

  • Well said! I agree with everything you say, QueenAnneFan. Genevieve Bujold's performance is incredible and unrivalled to this day! Imo, through her portrayal we capture a glimpse of the brave spirit Anne Boleyn must have possessed.

  • I loved the movie too!!

    especially the tower scene.

i love the story between Anne and Henry...its so intriguing!

    x

  • @QueenAnneFan

I also agree with you. Even though I haven't seen the entire movie, it looks well made. Some people would disagree with you about the film. Some people think that the movie was crap and flopped. But, I like it.

  • i love that video!

    really beautiful!

  • Thank you very much! :)

  • I really love this couple! Too bad they had to end like that! I really like the beginning part, especially when the song starts (0:44).

  • I agree with you! The end of this couple's story is so tragically sad. :'(

Thanks! When I decided to start with the "you shall dance to my tune, mistress!" scene, the dancing sequence with Anne and Percy seemed to be the ideal choice for the dynamic music and at the same time it echoed the quote .^^

  • I watched this film recently and loved it. The ending was really touching. You've made a beautiful video, well done!

  • How nice of you, thank you very much!

It's great you loved AotTD too! It's one of my favourite films and Anne Boleyn is my favourite personage in history! And yes, the end is so sad and touching, especially when you know the whole complex story.

I love the final scene when little Elizabeth walks to the palace and you hear the "my blood will have been well spent" speech. .'(

  • Yes, and what she said was so true. It is a beautiful film.

Have you seen 'Lady Jane' with Helena Bonham Carter (about Jane Grey who ruled for 9 days after the death of Henry VIII's son)? I recently bought it and loved it. I definitely recommend it. It's a wonderful and sad love story, about 2 young people who stood for what they believed in. :)

  • No, I haven't seen the film, yet, but I've read about it. Jane Grey is also a very interesting topic! What a tragic and short live! A young woman of integrity and strong faith injustly put to death. doesn't that sound familiar?^^

  • I've read that Zelah Clarke also plays a part in the movie. Did you notice her?

  • Yes I did. It's a really small role though, she only has a couple of lines and appears once or twice. It was lovely to see her though. :D

Helena Bonham Carter was really young here and her performance was brilliant as was Cary Elwes's. Oh you should watch it, I'm sure you'd love it. :)

  • This is quite AMAZINg! Cannot wait for the next part.

  • thank you! I've just completed part 2 - 'the king's great matter'.

  • OMG! Absolutely beautiful. You've taken a great movie and a great song and merged them into an even greater product! When's the finale? lol

  • Thank you very much, Aragornsfavorite!

I'm still working on it. I will try to complete it as soon as possible.^^

  • awesome!

  • thanks!:)
