That's not a suggested trick because after many times your zippo will not be able to get fully closed.

@JohnTheodo: that's because the inside slide's up a little, you can just push it back in like when you refill the lighter. either that or you fucked up the trick pretty bad :P

@djjunky94 To the people who have the problem that their capis not not fully closed. Just hit your cap to the left side (of the cap) at your left palm. After several times, it'll be fixed. BE CAREFUL. Before doing it, check out if the inside is not slided up.

Does any know how this works physically? The downforce is suddenly reversed to upforce, but since the lighter is solid and not made of rubber that is compressed and wants to return to normal state, I really dont see the physics behind it.

And yes I can do the trick, that's not the point, just wondering how it works.
