The song is very nice, in fact its the best part out of the game. Only if the rest of the game was as epic as this theme. Hopefully theill make it up with Versus.

I think a FRB System would have been cool

like you have a circle you can move freely in it and switch between your three battling characters.

oh and if youre wondering what I mean with FRB, its short for Free Run Battle

or basically, you can move by your own while fighting

I've had a low opinion of most of the games produced by Square Enix since the merger and I really had no interest in playing Final Fantasy XIII - until I heard this. It has instantly become one of my favourite tracks ever and I feel I have to play it for this alone.

This game is really horrible, unlike its soundtrack, BUT the soundtrack is really poorly executed ( this awsome music plays in every normal battle no matter how common or easy it is xD), wich makes this game even worse.

I played the game a good 5-6 hours and wanted my life that got wasted on it back... but the music (which is the whole point of this one) was good... so it gets that... also i gave the game to my sister (who seems to like it, though i bet shes just trying to spite me, lol)... so no worries to all you fans, its in a good home...

Actually, this song is not called Saber's Edge, that is the regular boss theme's name. This is the battle theme, and it is called Blinded by Light. I kind of own the OST myself so... lol

I have the game as well as that soundtrack. This is still called Blinded by Light. As I said before, Saber's Edge is the boss battle theme, just search Youtube and you'll see I'm right.

As I said, I own the soundtrack and I know the names of the songs for both the Duodecim and FF XIII osts. The ones on Duodecim are still called Blinded By Light and Saber's Edge.

I LOVE the battle System!!! Its very fast paced and moving, and you dont have to worry about making moves for the other characters. I just dont like how if you die, you dont control another character, its auto game over.

It's funny that you mentioned FF X, because over half the tracks on that OST weren't even Nobuo. They were Masashi Hamauzu (FF XIII OST) and Junya Nakano.

Nope, they went back to the traditional ATB/Battle Screen system from the FF1 - 10 games. It's just more active and moving now. I find the battle system to be superb.

It's gameplay still unsure as the vote is highly split on that. it's story told to be equally weak and moving by it's fanbase.

It's FFXII all over again, as the fans are split in the camp of "It's absolute whore-shit basked in cow diahrea filled with a skunk's urine" and "It's the greatest thing to grace gaming".

Take it with a bit of salt, best be underhyped and be pleasantly surprised then hyped and deceived.

The composer for both games is different so i don't see the familiar sound of the violin. Also, yes i have listened to the Eternal Sonata ost, but Motoi Sakuraba basically just transferred his old style into real instruments, and there are PLENTY of his songs on here.

Eternal Sonata's battle themes are not that powerful or memorable to me.

Hmm you will however find the same feel of the violin from listening to the battle theme from Unlimited Saga. This song kinda favors it in melody and violin. Just this one is more up beat and epic. There were a few tracks in Eternal Sonata that were memorable. The main Battle and boss themes get stuff in my head mainly because off the violn and brass instruments. Also the the sewer song in the game is pretty good, especially when they get the string ensemble part. just magic. :D

No, The demo was only for the japanese version, and the demo only worked on the PS3 anyway,, so a Blu-Ray player wouldn't really do you any good if you wanted the demo.
