  • love brian..play their cd every christmas....

  • Great take on a Elvis fav.

  • First time I've heard all these Christmas songs. They are absolutely awesome. I will too have a blue Christmas, but this song will make me feel wanted and loved and cared for !

  • awesome i wish i could have met these people

  • 1 person will have a very blue christmas

  • No Offense but this is way way better than Elvis's

  • Both Elvis and Brian do a great job

  • Brian's voice was simply gorgeous in those days; he could sing literally, anything. This makes me so sad, thinking of that voice--& those days. They went by, so fast. Wolfsky9.

  • wish the rest of the boys had sang choruses. wonderful arrangement!

  • Yeah - it would be a lot better WITH Chorus! :)

Although.. Brians Voice was incredible at that time!

  • never heard this version.........definitely desrves christmas airplay........great job.

  • I love it. It almost brings tears to the eyes.

  • My favorite version. Brian nailed it.

  • well this song isn't as well as the other from beach boys, but beach boys are awesome though !

  • this version of song has a christmas spirit =D

For me, Elvis version hasnt it

  • I hate the Elvis version. There's no sadness in it and its supposed to be a sad song. Brain Wilson (its his first solo song btw) brings out the lonliness of the lyrics.

  • Yes, Elvis' Version is just more "Rock'n' Roll.....but try listen to Elvis: I'll be home for Christmas"

  • @barkboingfloom I agree. The song as a very sad song, and Brian pours on the longing. WOW, his voice....

  • @Okiemom50 One side of the record was traditional christmas songs the other original songs

  • Thank you, Batman.

  • i like the elvis version better.

  • My favaurite Christmas song. They singing this song more better than Elvis.

  • The first vocal note of this song sounds just like first one "You Still Believe In Me"

  • every year one Christmas eve and night we put on the Beach Boys Christmas CD

    =]]

  • Thats one of the best christmas albums along with phil spector ,nat cole ,4 seasons , ventures...[ I usually listen to the beach boys christmas album in the summer to cool off along with symphony antartica ] .

  • ohk....thanks....=]]

  • i jus love dis song.....its sooooo gud..!!!

  • brian sings it way better than elvis ever could

  • One side had traditional christmas songs the other their own originals .

  • blue christmas without my family rest in

peace mom dad ricky & kenney I miss you all very much.....

  • this is my favorite christmas song

  • Brian's voice at that age makes me frickin' cry tears of pure distilled joy.

  • I totally agree -- Carl to me is my Man!!! Heard him in the grocery store and asked them to turn the music up hee hee

  • That's Carl's perfect pitch on the Blue Christmas. Wow what a voice.

  • Hi. It's Brian. No doubt about it. Though Carl, at least later in his career, could have done it probably just as well. And I do agree that Carl had perfect pitch and, wow, did he also have a voice!

  • i sometimes get them mixed up since Carl covered for Brian when he was out of commission.

  • No big deal. There is a genetic similarity. Carl's voice was definitely after the 70's purer and in better shape after the 70's and drug abuse nearly ruined Brian's voice, a great tragedy. Surely he did a marvelous job on this song.

  • this is one of my favorite chiristmas songs and to have the beach boys sing it is just wonderful and i love the picture thank you so much

  • Brian Wilson singing lead...should of been a single...at Christmas 1964..another Capitol..OOps
