  • Great videos. Most people who think they know how a manual trans work think it's the gears that slide into each other instead of the synchro sliders. Close ups are great.

  • @TheKeyboardKowboy yea you got it, i find myself explaining that often. one of the reasons i took the time to explain it in the vid i made on how a manual trans works, thanks for the compliment

  • Great how-to videos, I enjoy them.

  • @klc317 thank you

  • This is an Awesome series! Thanks a lot for posting this. I have a '91 Jeep XJ, with an AX15 and NP231. I'm going to pull them and rebuild them both. Your video is a big, big help and confidence booster.

Do you know when part 4 will be ready?

    Thanks!

  • @montanasoftware awesome thanks for the compliment, part 4 will be up shorty all parts are here. it kinda got put on the back burner. things got hectic the last couple weeks i have some footage just need to take the time and edit, 3 collision jobs feel on my plate one was my wife's car, so this weekend i will be slinging some paint, then i can get back on track i apologize for the delay

  • @robinsonsauto -- Wow ... you are multi-talented. I'm going to try painting my jeep later. Sticking with the mechanical restoration first, then paint, then interior. Keeps me sane when life gets crazy. Take care, and thanks again for your efforts. You should make a bunch of DVDs and market them. I think a lot of people would buy them.

    Take care.

  • @montanasoftware i am painting a jeep tomorrow. i will do a quick before and after video, should have it up shortly after

  • I am a new subscriber of yours and in automotive school. I really enjoy your videos
