A gen 2+ or better headmounted monoc used in conjunction with weapon mounted infared lights and long range ir lights and visi and ir lasers you can dominate the battlefield at night for quite a ways out. Expensive but worth every penny. And can weapon mount them.
People might be critical of this video, but let's be 100% honest. You may NEVER need this skill, but it's a skill that would be nice to have just to have it. Like any other skill you might possess that you may never need, you can never be too smart or too skilled at something. Plus shooting is FUN!!! Thanks for sharing this video.
B.A.D. lever?!?!?!? REVIEW!!!! plz plz plz. i would love you. like a bro, dont go thinking anything funny. lol, no realy i would love to see a B.A.D. lever review, nothin fancy, just a lil 5 min review if you could. i know how it is with time but im just putn it out ther. have a nice day
I love my entry tactical, never had a single malfunction with it, and I love the light weight. Its easy to keep it under 9 pounds if your careful about what you put on it
I agree with @jeffxl12 ...This sort of training is unrealistic, and therefor a waste of effort and money. There was no light discipline, especially while moving from position to position. It's a tactical light not a headlamp. LIGHT ON - shoot - LIGHT OFF - move. Even better: using night vision. Real tangos would have been shooting back and/or dropped the shooter while he was bouncing along the trail, lit up like a Christmas tree.
@ThePatriotLetters U must have missed the part where Nutn' states that this is set up is for FUN/PRACTISE and knws that all the points u posted are true and that of course u would run with lights tacticaly. Glad u can afford decent N/V kit, i dont knw too many non-mil/leo's that can.. also think that this is at the end of a long day with safety/injury concerns with tired shooters, so lights were used, i for one would not want anyone getting injured making YT vids....
Factor in the dark, the cold and your timed. That's some very tough shooting conditions.Hats off Nutn you were rock'n the RRA entry tactical.Great video. Thanks Nutn,PFI and Bugget
Dig it. Yes I think a scenario like this is fun. However, getting out and shooting in different weather types, different types of day and night is all valuable to the shooter. A self defense scenario does not necessarily happen during a sunny 72 degree day with a slight breeze. So along with the fun, yes I would say there is some practicality to it.
Word man! Everyone who actually did shooting drills in the night knows HOW DIFFICULT it is/can be. Talkin' about the blinding from the flash with short guns (I use a 11.5" barrel CAR 15), talking about spotting the target at the distance etc. etc. And yes, your selfdefence, by Murphy's law, WILL be in a dark, cold, wet night. ;-)
Great video! Every time I watch these types of vids I appreciate the realism. I think it's great that you show the little bobbles or mistakes because it's real life. Hard to clip retention straps, loading mags backwards...lol, it all happens no matter how much you mentally walk through or prepare. Thanks for keeping it real brother!
you know whats funny. If it was a real fire fight they all would be killed because of the lights. Good thing this is just recreational, and entertainment
@AgentMcgeek I am not going target practicing at night either. To me its a waste of bullets. I believe it's glorified target shooting. What good comes this practice, I am going to be in my house. I won't need to shoot 1or 200 yards. And you'll be in your house too. It's just not practical IMO
@jeffxl12 To me wasting bullets is standing or sitting at a bench, the difference between people actually trying to climb the next rung on the latter of excellence and people sitting at there house giving road scholar advise is right here in this video, its called getting out and doing it, you train for supine not because your going to put your self in that position but because one day you might be in that position, maybe you mist Nutns comment about running with lights on vs having fun?
@TNPviewer I would respect this person even more, if he used reactable targets. That way you don't know where to shoot next. Those kind of targets are around 20 &up. Plus he's all about timing.Get timed with them everyones timing is off. Wheather your standing or sitting or running in a desert, mountainss, swamp, jungle etc. Yes I must have missed his comments about the lights.
@jeffxl12 It's not practical to assume you're only going to be doing home defense in your lifetime, either -- especially to assume it won't be at night.
@jeffxl12 What is the point of your criticism? You acknowledge that Nutn's shooting is recreational and meant for entertainment, yet you still discuss a scenario that you already know is the complete opposite of the truth.
That is like criticizing an elementry school basketball player, and saying that one of his moves would not work if he played in the NBA.
i realy digg these b-edits!! outstanding shots on to the 200 yard target, thank you for posting ur run, top camera work by PFI its freaking hard to flim with night vision, and so good to see BUGGET! cheers again Lads, best wishes and take care
I’ve always enjoyed the sledgehammer videos. However it has always seemed backwards to me. Shouldn’t it be set; long-range, then shorter range with rifle then to the pistol backup? Thanks for the video.
