  • they danced good but it was NOT BOLLYWOOD ......... not in any tiny bitsy way whatsoever !

  • What is the bollywood nonsense? I hope ABDC 7 doesn't bring this nonsense back

  • i love dev mahjahn :p did i spell that right >_< i don't think i did

  • Vogue Evolutions song... i miss the leadsinger of the song.. Danish/Jamaican Singer Natasja... we miss her in danish music!!!

    May she rest in peace..

  • its challenges like these that make every team step up... they should have more foreign dance challenges

  • THIS WAS PROLLY MY FAVORITE CHALLENGE AND EPISODE ALL SEASON. I THOUGHT ALL THE CREWS REALLY BROUGHT IT.

  • Afroborike was a joke!!! Telling Shane to buy a ticket to Brasil, I mean, what the hell?! Can they not understand english??? It's AMERICA'S best dance crew... like come on

  • not even close to bollywood..!!!

  • its bharatnatyam lil mama

  • I've seen some Bharata natyam growing up and Kathak seems similar...well I've seen many bharata natya performances...and they too use the bells, along with the fast footwork...would someone please clarify the differences for me?

  • @limetheleamer

Bharatnatyam is the root of all formal classical indian dances. originated in the south of india. kathak is an adaptation of bharatnatyam...performed mostly by courtesans and royal performers in the north. both involve anklets with bells. Bharatnatyam needs more flexibility, strength, while kathak concentrates more on feet's movement and spins with speed given lot of emphasis in the spins! well this is the simplest of explanations i could come up with! :)

  • for the first one...where the hell was the bhangra

  • @sunyellowman that was barely bangra

  • bhangra n gidha chake yo yo

  • man u shaved off a lot of bhangra from it.

  • although I really appreciate that they showcased indian dance styles....it wasn't bollywood

  • The Outfits that We are heros are wearing. Does anyone know a place where you can buy them? the top is freaking awesome!

It would be even more awesome if you know the sewing pattern for it....!!

hope someone can help me! :P

  • @gandhrav The song name's Calabria

  • My dance teacher always told my class that everyone who hasn't studied dance (as in bharanthium.. Idk how to spell it) would think we were good but everyone who has studied it would know that we were terrible (ouch...) welll i think that the bharanthium group was mostly amazing!... Gahh but their hands weren't strong at all... Those mudras need attention smh, I can't believe my teacher wad right in one sense though

  • what song were they playing at 11:06? I forgot the name of it, it belong to that singer (girl) who dies in car crash in 2007. Anybody know the name of that song?

  • Th efirst dance had nothing to do with Bhangra

  • @ramona2003 you are right. i have the same opinion. there were just 1 or 2 bhangra steps..

  • While I love the fact that ABDC is trying to incorporate different cultures, I commend them for the effort, and I'm excited that Indian culture is being brought to the US, NONE of these styles are Bollywood. Bhangra and Giddha are Punjabi folk dances, the Rajisthani dance was folk. Bharatanatyam and Kathak are classical dance styles. They didn't even DO Bollywood, and these styles are so distinct from Bollywood. Just say it's a cultural challenge with Indian dance styles, no big deal.

  • the dances:

    3:18

    10:12

    16:27

    22:34

    27:41

  • the other teams were beast but not the vouge team

  • the thrid group kelt it

  • they all did good

  • well i could only endure up to 4:45 before i had to stop. These people are shitting all over bollywood dance. Leave it to America to try and pull this shit off. Fuck this gay ass show.

  • @jharrod123 that one was garbage buhh if you watched the other dances they weren't too bad

  • Whats the song playing at 3:45?

  • lol "oh im a feather, lets go!"

  • lil mama isn't even famous

  • bharatanatimi

  • I never understood why we are hereos where in the bottom for like 3-4 straight weeks they killed every challenge better than everyone else

  • Perfect !!!

  • love that!!!

  • i don't like Vogue Evolution. im not sure what his name but the transvestite is being so disrespectful to his crew like... seriously come on.. im not a huge fan of theirs i haven't been from the start but this just makes me dislike them. him more than the other 4 guys i really don't have a problem with the other 4 guys but the transvestite is just.. so disrespectful.

honestly this was a bad season, i really don't think season 4 was a good season. We Are Hero's is good but other than that. no

  • As cool as it is that South Asian culture is being spread it is an insult to South Asian dance to have it all labelled as "Bollywood Styles." Bhangra=Punjabi FOLK DANCE, Rajasthani=Rajasthani FOLK DANCE, Bharatanatyam is far above Bollywood and is a CLASSICAL DANCE. Kathak is another purely CLASSICAL DANCE. Giddha yet again NOT a "bollywood style" it's again a punjabi folk dance. Garba is not a bollywood stlye either it's a traditional Gujarati dance. Not everything South Asian means Bollywood

  • @MehndiKeRang U forgot to mention Lavni= Maharasthrian folk dance Also Koli dance=native to mumbai Kahtahkali= native to kerala, Kathak= native to Uttar Pradesh..... There are tons and tons of these styles. But why bollywood, is prolly cuz all of these styles have been used in Hindi Film Songs. Think and tell me one style which has not been used in any songs till now! Hence the term bollywood. Its catchy and small. Thats all!!

  • @SashaDHottie I didn't forget to mention them, I was commenting on the "styles" in the video, and I did mention Kathak. It might be cathy and small but true south asian dance takes years of dedication and people think they can label it bollywood and get away with doing it badly. It just seems likes some people can't handle taking south asia full on; they feel the need to westernize it first.

  • @MehndiKeRang Well, I don't think they do it on purpose - they called it Bollywood, because they knew they weren't going to learn the original South Asian dance styles in a week, so they tried they're hand in what they felt were the "watered down" versions.

(No disrespect to Bollywood, but perhaps that's what they felt like to the producers of the show.)

I think they really tried, and trying to incorporate some different culture is always commandable, even if it's not 100% real.

  • @MehndiKeRang Totally agree. Plus a lot of the dance groups barely incorporate the style they were given. Like the one assigned garba...I saw NO garba. Why'd they even bother?

  • OK Vogue Evolution's dance was very good.

  • what song is this 10:30?

    please tell me <3

  • Nakul you ass wipe i can do better than you.

  • vogue evolutions mastermix is mostly spanish and the choreo was a mix of island and spanish and very lil bollywood

  • OMG. Vogue Evolution got Calibria!

  • Quest can do 18:53 with 4 people :P

  • My only problem with rhythm city is that I dont think they are clean enough but other wise there awesome

  • @Royc3z very very much agree i love them too but like what you said they're not enough clean

  • @Royc3z Mayb ur right! But what i liked about them is, the fact that they stuck to the challenge! All the groups i saw, didnt really learn the correct moves of any of the styles, and neither did they incorporate it correctly with hip hop. Me being a BharathNatyam dancer myself, can tell you rythm did a good job. This was the toughest art form given outta all the styles. And it was the Only Indian Classical form, rest were all Folk styles

  • @Royc3z sorry my bad, Afroborike also, received an Indian Classical Dance form, Kathak. I spoke too soon. But still, Afro did just ONE move of Kathak that too Outta sync. Infact i saw bhangra style lavni style... lol and not what not in their choreography. They shudv been eliminated there and then. It takes years to learn classical dancing, but They cudv atleast tried more. I was disappointed!

  • @Royc3z they were the cleanest group

  • I LOVE Rhythm City, they brought strict choreography to the ABDC stage. I was really upset when they got eliminated. =(

  • fav is at 22:41 !

  • fav is at 22:41 !

  • who the hell is nakul dev??

he aint any renouned bwood choreographer

  • @koolkhitesh He's probably most famous in the states for doing choreography on So You Think You Can Dance. He's also choreographed a Macy's Star of Dance performance on Dancing with the Stars and as well on several Bollywood Movies.

  • lil mama is funny this season lol :)

  • rythm city and we are heros were my fav's.<3
