It's in allegorical terms describing what the person, Dhul Qarnayn saw. The arabic word use is 'wajadah' meaning 'appeared to', it's not my fault you havn't read the whole thing. 36:39 "And we have provided rest places for the Moon, ....."
18:84 ".... and found it (the Sun) went down in a blurred source and found people beside it."
This alone shows that the arabic word "falak" in (21:33, or 34) has wrongly ("conveniently") been translated with "orbit". The original meaning relates to spherical (the sky in this case).

@silveren777 Well the guys that went up there took pictures of the moon and found out that there is a chrust on the surface and also on the inside sorry my english is not that good but you know what I mean. like two halves split and then came back together but when this happens you'll have to see sort of line that leaves a mark that it has split before. it is very old info because the Astronaunts where interviewed about this in the 70's I think do not know for sure.

Oh, and please let us know the method of determining that the rilles "go to the core and other side" of the moon - especially given that the rilles are NOT circumlunar, are NOT continuous, run a DIFFERENT angle to each other, and oh yes! No moon landings were near any rilles, and no lunar probes or impacters either for that matter.

1. NASA has never proved that the moon has split. If you say it has YOU must cite a reference.
2. There is evidence of the moon shrinking slightly, but that is an entirely natural event. Nothing to do with your religion.
3. No observations I have made (or have heard that others made) to show any sign of the moon splitting.
If you have evidence that the moon split, show us. I will convert on the spot and start learning Arabic.
This is just a story told to primitive people.

Science says this is stupid, it doesn't confirm this. If you want to demonstrate that science is real, all you have to do is pick up a cell phone. @forgottenmemories63 In Surah Kahf, the Qur'an described the appearence in allegorical terms as what Dhul-Qarnan saw, implying it was sunset, (maghrib). It's in allegorical terms describing what the person, Dhul Qarnayn saw. The arabic word use is 'wajadah' meaning 'appeared to', it's not my fault you havn't read the whole thing. Secondly, the word yawm in Arabic has two meanings, one is day and the other is an epox of time, Arabic is based on trileteral roots of words, there is a science to it.

It's christians that believe that God made the Earth in 6 day period then rested on the 7th day. Type in Ayat al Kursi in Youtube, which many muslims recite, it strictly refutes the christian notion and belief of God resting. Christians, specifically Evangelicals believe that the Earth is 6'000 years old. Muslims don't.

@bash715 Well, This can be verified as False because the Bible clearly states "6 Days of Creation" too. And knowing how most of the content of Quran is from Torah and Bible and a little of Pagan Beliefs, I can assume that it most certainly wouldn't have been 6 Time Periods but 6 Days.
Even if we consider it as "6 Time Periods" for the sake of argument, What is a Time Period then ? Would your answer be "Only Allah knows" ? Then why reveal it to Man in a Code message ?

#2: daha is a verb. ha means: it. So dahaha means to spread it. If you say daha is an egg, then Allah egged it.
Do you believe Earth is egg-shaped? It would wobble uncontrollably and disintegrate. No planet or star is egg-shaped.

Oh, so Allah uses a word, which is actually wrong as it was supposed to be another word, which then makes it totally wrong.
So "spread it" is actually the view of the primitive Muslims, not Allah - but Allah did not care to explain it properly. So modern Muslims prefer the word egg, which is also wrong etymologically, factually and grammatically.

Can you at least explain how grammatically the verb daha can refer to an egg? Egged? Eggied? Eggoimed?
