A really good effort for someone who is only 13! I felt she didn't have the characterization, but that comes with age and maturity - a downside to giving someone so young a solo like that. I would have preferred to see her do a simpler solo and nail it both technically and stylistically.

I'm pretty sure she wears Gaynor Mindens, which i personally can't stand, because they're really bad for you- the box doesn't even come up to me metatarsals (as far as where the support is, not the satin) and they gave me shinsplints and were way too narrow and can be really bad for the bottoms of your feet

I think her tut is perfect size- sometimes you see small girls with really big tutus and it's looks "not good" like you want to get in there with scissors and fix it. =)

wow she´s very graceful and her arms are great. Your pirouettes are amazing too! Just work on your strength, sometimes you fall out of your turns, but besides that it was great! I´m not even a tenth as good ;)

Beautiful costume and a tiara.  Her arms are bit too long for her hight but she'll be taller and better with every aspect.

Does anyone else think she’s a bit too thin? This is a serious question-aka not down putting or mean- it may be just me because i honestly don’t know for sure. I want to know if being as small as Miko is normal in the ballet world or a bit too thin?

If she is then I think the reason she kept falling out of her pirouettes is because she was too weak. Again, serious question. Please answer?

@uttripudio I don't think she's too thin. You have to take into consideration the amount of training she goes through. You can't become this good with little practice. Ballet is extremely hard work. Also, she's only 13. She may also get her thinness from her family and such. But she's not only thin, she's toned and has muscle. I don't think that her weight was a factor in falling out of her turns. She has amazing balance for her age, and for the difficulty of those turns.

I can see your skills and potentials...you are really great!! but I can't see the expression..the quality of every little movement meaning something!..like the developpe ecarte at the beggining of the variation..it was great but it was looking like you were just doing that..a developpe..

Try to calm your hands, your fingers actually..and give the feeling from your upper body...

I don't want to be mean or the cleaver one... It's my advice as a teacher!

you are soooo talented! i'd tell you to work on your hands cause they are cuting the extensions of your arms. You need to think that lines of light are coming out form your heads and you're drawing the sky and the floor. The light only comes out if you fully extend your arms and hands. but be careful not to get to stiff. you're getting far kid. that was beautiful. :)

She danced better at the Final at the New York City Center but we couldn't get the DVD because of the regulation of the New York City Center.
