Yes it was for a bit. But hey it's rock and roll. However people play out of key on purpose all of the time, mainly jazz players but in rock solos as well. He creates tension and relief. Which adds color and excitement. It's commonly used but if you don't use it right it sounds like shiiit.

Another hodge podge of MSG '73 edits flown in to make for an infuriating mix of footage. Sure, there's some we haven't seen, but in quick succession we see Page with dry hair, JPJ with the 'wig' from the post-tour filming, Page with wet and curling hair, then JPJ with the tour length hair.

Amusingly, continuity is still a problem in 2007 as it was back in 1976. Jonesy's wig will forever haunt him! :D
