Im sure everyone knows but this is act 3 of a 6 act masterpiece , every single track on all 3 acts is cinematic and amazing and it tells a story, about the main character and his family and the women he loves (and leaves at the end of act 2) they should really make it into a muscial it is amazing when you follow the story and listen to the lyrics.
@tParker1001 Porcupine tree, recieving end of sirens, they all do kind of similar musics. Even sound of animals fighting. But I think the dear hunter makes the highest quality stuff, and does the best job. By a mile
@hcvideoproductions Hahah it's funny that you say SoAF, that was the only one I thought was worthy of comparison, yet I've never met anyone else who has heard of them :P
Why has no one uploaded the animated short film ("A Boy Alone") for this song that was released with the vinyl of Act I and II as downloadable content?
it's truly sickening how such an amazing band only has 11k views, while a bunch of shit has hundreds of thousands, this song alone should have a million+ views
@JackTheNinja11 yeah its pretty saddening man...well the dear hunter isnt that big yet...but the day they are and people hear them they will understand real music! =D
@ASonOfRevolutionYou see the thing is that USA isn't diverse enough. Unfortunately a majority of the people in the U.S. have gotten so adjusted to songs with "bass" or mainstream songs. Look up The Four Chord (something) it should be with 3 guys on a stage.. that honestly explains like ALL mainstream songs then you'll realize why people here are so fixated on simple rhythms and no harmonies whatsoever. Honestly, ask a guy who listens to wrap what he/she likes about the song... you'll see
@sam9008 *Rap. And there are those of us who dig this kind of stuff instead of Justin Beiber and Hannah Montana and whatever the next new "thing" will be.
@sam9008 Oh and yeah, look up diversity, and the definition be the U.S. Our country is just full of dumbass teenagers. They think songsall haveto be pointless music about love and sex anddrugs, instead of stories. May they maybe one day learn real music.
@amethystwolfgang I honestly don't know if you're trying to insult me by telling me to look up the definition for diversity lol. I go to college for audio production and I just so happen to know the business of music and how it flows and why it possibly is different in certain locations. Don't blame the kids, as much as I don't like them or the music, it's the people who allow the music to get by who mess up our nation. A lot of kids nowadays can't even recognize real woodwind, brass, etc. instr
@amethystwolfgang (cont.'d) they grow up in a time where the majority of the music that is known publicly is as complicated as it gets. So when people who don't have much of a taste for being creative or creative music listen to what we listen to, all they hear is jumbled up noise, and all they can think of is "Where's the bass at?".
Creative people with great hearing notice all of the aspects of music which are : Rhythm, Tambre, and Harmony
@zambie552 timbre my fault I was typing fast without really paying attention, I went to school at full sail university for 7 months and arts of institute for a month now, full sail costs too much money. Also full sail is an accelerated program its 2 classes per month.
@R00AR The best bands are best kept as a special secret amongst those who really appreciate such beautiful music and deserve to hear it. (: I personally favor TDH staying out of the mainstream playlists and out of harms way.. Otherwise, under the influence of publicity and popculture, who knows what their music would evolve into :(
@R00AR I don't think that would even be a good thing. Casey writes his music from the heart. You can feel it when he plays, I think with fame that goes away after a while.

A lot of great bands have small or no publicity. It's a shame, really. Give real talent its dues, not sham bands.
