  • music shouldn't be played how it's written.

  • This is too easy! I'd rather hear some one play it without the mechanical(empty feeling) given here. Any computer novicc can do this! Conclusion: this is not music.

  • The computer plays it how it's supposed to be played. Interpretation is a pathetic excuse for not being able to play a song the way it's written.

  • People said computers will one day play music. Here you go then, do you like it?

  • @MateiAlexandruBogdan Meh. Call me when they have a computer that can improvise well, and we'll talk ;)

  • reminds me of Mario... towards the mid section

  • naaaa too bad the sound of the keyboard is not like the piano ! but the performance it was kinda good (: congrats

  • @JazzAce340 Even though Liszt never mastered the piano?

  • @Musingfornoreason

    Define "mastered"

  • Impressive work!

  • this is impossible for me, regardless of how many years i train. the speed alone is inhuman!

  • When you're too tired to play it and you put it in a program notes and enthusiastic when it plays ..

  • looks nearly impossible

  • this sound very bad after u just listened to some master play this song. it has no feeling....

  • @poklingg1 omg I was thinking the EXACT same thing. :S

  • easy

  • I'm playing this. Its a difficult piece, but not THAT difficult. Nothing compared to, say, the 3rd movement of the Rach 3.

  • This is a pretty hard piece! My hands hurt from the first few weeks that I started learning how to play this! Dx

I can play the first 30 measures or so, now! And I've been working on it for MONTHS.

  • O yes it is a difficult piece to play but not as hard as it sounds on most of the parts as there is a certain logic in most of the piece. Therefore is for example transcendental etude nr 4 (Mazeppa) from Liszt much more difficult to play.

  • @fukkiemukkie I'm sure all of the transcendental etudes are harder to play than this.

  • @PhillyB702 Agreed except probably for number 3.

  • From 3:30 to 3:36 it sounds like Mario fighting Bowser :D

  • now hum this while going to work

  • 1:33

    When brix were shat

  • we need finger patterns for those hard chromatic passages near the end :(

  • HARD IN THE 1:35

  • oh my gosh! :O I think my fingers would look like dinosaurs hands when i play it! But it takes a long while...LoL

  • i don't know what happen... i heard a scream and then my fingers were broken ._.

  • i mean it doesn't look *that* hard but I can imagine my arms would fall off when i attempt to play it one day!

  • This looks impossible!

  • do you have like A REALLLLY SLOW version of the sheet....

  • The little x means accmented notes which means it is played one note higher than it is read it saves more space they think but it all looks crowded to me.

  • you can find free piano sheet music @ sheetsearch . com

  • Excuse me, What grade of song 8 or ATCL

  • damn thats hard

  • MADMAN! bravo

  • 25 got their piano short

  • what does the little "x" infront of the note mean?

  • @johnny110291 it means 2#

  • @johnny110291 double sharp

  • For those that are looking for the Sheet Music, this website has lots to download: Sheet Music Haven (dot) com.

Thumbs up so others can see this.

  • lol, the player piano can represent more emotion than I can with this song.

  • Cheers, no I can go buy this sheet music and die wondering !

  • @JazzAce340 and his head he's like "bith please"

  • I hate it when I'm jealous of a computer...

  • @axtrubanblaha who doesn't?

  • How.

  • My fingers would catch aflame if I played this on a piano.

  • once you could play this piece, you're absolutely a pro pianist

  • I'm just wondering how anyone is supposed to play it that fast. especially at the measures at 1:38. My thumbs can't even go taht quick! lmao. It's a cool piece but sort of annoying because of those darn high notes.

  • @TheHealer777 For that part, I alternate between the 2nd finger and thumb for the first two notes and play the third with my pinky :P

  • I could play it anytime... at 1 bpm :D

  • 3:55 the left hand sounds like some machine's powering down

  • hahahhaha i don't know whether sibelius can do this. mine plays 1-minute pieces (consisting mainly of quarter notes) i make with pauses so sometimes i just think there's a lousy sightreader hiding somewhere in my computer :))))

  • Thankyou for this! Much appreciated

  • this piece looks... fun 0.o

  • my fingers saw the sheet music and died.

  • LOL isnt there any version for beginers :D

  • @PlyMood I haven't found any so far :/

  • hahahahahaahaha]

  • im one who likes alot of music my life revolves about music and games and for some reason i just love this

  • Remember me my Nintendo NES......

  • some noobs on here think its awful

they seriously need to change their musical tastes

    this is spectacular

yes ok its on a computer

yes ok a computer cant make the sound of a human

    on a real piano

    but still all considered

    specatular piece

  • The composition is interesting, but a machine will never understand music. The interpretation is mechanical, hammered, cold.

  • awful in my opinion :(

  • Not bad for a machine.

  • Im pretty sure I just crapped my pants. THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!

  • This is crap.

  • yundi li plays it better

  • Mechanically perfect! emotionally...! This should be a great help for the rockie players.

  • who's the pianist?

  • @v4liumfrance Software.

  • waooo whay programme you used for this??? It's really cool

  • O_O! The power of La Campanella!

  • que obra maestra

  • sounds like mario lol

  • the 2:20 - 2:35 is a f'ing tragedy to classical music. how awful computers have been in this element.

  • Too mechanically perfect., after a short while you realise it's not a real human player. But interesting none the less.

If the 'program' could include a few subtle variations in tempo and perhaps rather more in dynamics it would be a good substitute - and better than me and many players!

  • thank you for uploading this.

  • wth.. my fingers gotta stretch like hell.. and i gotta jump here and there.. paganini is seriously crazy when... but the music he compose is GD!

  • liszt was amazing!!

  • Realmente bello e impresionante.

  • such a beautiful sound warms my heart

  • My fingers would look... well they wouldn't look like fingers after I played this D:

Amazing piece of art by the way o.o

    5/5

  • @Puppenspielsmeister

did u kno that liszt's hands can reach 14 keys at once?

therefore if u cant reach 14 ur fingers will no longer be fingers if u finish playing this song

  • @ViolinOnDaRun I can play this piece and I can reach a 10th.

  • @SordidGuy

    really?

    well i never...

  • no shit. This is just to show the sheet music. You don't need to point out the obvious,

  • Looks a mess.

  • WOW!!!!

    Soooo beautiful!!!!

  • Fascinating to see how the music is read on the sheet; and how on earth it is possible to read it at such speed with such precision and produce this most difficult piece. This girl is no ordinary girl.

  • @sheilamaclean You don't actually read it at the speed, you learn at a slow pace, build yourself up. Then you memories the right hand (or left hand in some parts) some people can do it easier than others. Then they follow the music and just read the bits they need, and even if they're not reading note for note, it's a rather good guide. Then when they perform we tend not to use sheet music :)

  • Ah...now that would make sense, I'll try that. thankyou - was aiming for playing without music but thought I'd be cheating by memorising. I've been learning first the right then the left ever so slowly but putting it together is the hard bit but am persevering - thanks for encouragement.

  • Playing from memory is not cheating at all, all of the best musicians do it. :) Try going along to a slow metranome tick and play both hands together. Works for me, then slowly work your way up when you feel comfortable.

  • Beautiful.

  • Thanks Stevey226 - am learning Chopin's Prelude No. 7 Opus 28 extra slowly, but a test for chords on both hands (for a beginner) but if I can get through this and play without a mistake am gonna feel great and encouraged to try other pieces. Thanks for your good advice I'll keep perservering!

  • Bloody Hell, don't listen to the MIDI, of course it's possible, listen to real pianists playing it.

  • omg.... dont listen to midis

    Listen to pianists!!!

  • yes they can... there are actually many videos of good pianists playing it here in youtube.

  • Valentina lisitsa

  • Oh shit!! Is this possible??? Its crazy!!!

  • oh i belive its possible

its just really really hard is all

  • i know, i saw someone playing it and it wass crazy

  • Amazing...

  • watch evgeny kissin ;)

  • ok this is insane LOL

  • I'd rather attempt all of the Chopin Ballades and all 32 of Beethovens Sonata's before even considering this

  • honestly it is very hard but if you work enough at it and you have a lot of confidence then you will do fine at it. the most important thin is that you shouldn't start off too fast lol.

  • Can I also have a copy of the music sheet? please...

  • just go to google images "la campanella" it there should be an image of the sheet music there.

  • bravo to the computer!(i'm just kidden)

  • おもしろい!

  • i want the sheet music, WHICH I'M GETING FROM MY PIANO TEACHER TOMORROW BVWHAHAHAAAAA

  • Comment removed

  • HOLY SHIT WTF WAS THAT!!! :D

  • holy f%ck..............

  • please let me have a copy of the music sheet too=(

  • i also want the sheet music..

  • Molto tecnico

  • OMg thats really difficult...

  • I need it plz! on pdf :)

  • I like it, it's the neon version of la campanella.

  • I WONDER I could can play this

  • Hey nice vid!!! CAN I GET THIS SHEET MUSIC PLZ!

  • wow you let sibelius do all the work for you.. haha

  • ..sibelius?

  • Haha wat? You´ve never used sibelius don´t say anything ;)

Sibelius is much more better than this program -_-

  • @meredith5990 This can't be sibelius -- sibelius sounds far far far better than this. Have you tried using it?

  • @meredith5990 And, on sibelius, the notation would look a lot better... you can, for instance, notate trills and melodies on the same hand, rather than having to write out every note of the trill when the melody is playing above it one the same hand.

  • chido video

  • it really doesn't even sound right when its done by a computer.

  • now i know, it's because it's a midi file!!

  • This must be a MIDI file. The program is either "Notation Musician" or "Notation Composer". In the last one you can compose music, but its not that good (I recommend Sibelius). In Notation Musician you can see the notes of a MIDI file (and listen to the music of course); select just one instrument to play, etc...

You can download the program for a 30-day trial!

  • yes, but sibelius is expensive...

  • @hayama317 why does that matter? And it's not that expensive if you have a job, £300 for Sib 6. Do you think it makes you sound good or something?

  • @220392123 Even if I had the money, I wouldn't spend it on Sibelius. What do you mean "why does it matter?" Of course price matters! If Sibelius is £300 (or $500) and Finale is $600, I'd rather get finale just because I have used it and I am familiar with it. I'm not degrading Sibelius, but I'm not a supporter.

  • why is this different on the la campanella piaece that i have now?

  • this is computer generated. and no computer can ever replace a human!

  • wtf how can anyone even play this

  • It doesn't sound human to me. Sadly indeed.

  • very clever posting this....hahahah.... I know its hard....my hand can't handle the strain.....this could be a better alternative....good luck to the owner

  • well, im keeping on learning it as fast as i could so that i could show to my classmates the beauty of classical music!

  • lol it sounds like a computer game sometimes :P

  • did you do this yourself? its probably better than what I could do for writing down sheet music from songs I have heard, but I think instead of using weird... 32nd notes or whatever they are they should be crushed notes etc...

  • amazing

  • Impossible.

  • lol...

How you seen it performed by Li Yundi?

    :P

  • You know, I thing It's some programm like Sibelius Encore Finale e.t.c. Yes, some movement's really good and he did all than maximum nearly tempo. Brave`

  • I personally think Gyorgy does it better.

  • This isn't a real person playing, computers can't give that same emotion that a real person can

  • This version actually has more emotion than Adam Gyorgy's rendition in 2007.

  • That's your opinion, but a computer software just isn't the same as a real person. I find this quite monotonous and dull

  • i think that it is more understandable to look it in the manual way rather than using the octave sign... for me i guess...

  • the high notes sound very noisy

  • and how do you pronounce the name of this song? :P

  • sharp notes are F, C, G, D, A. you pronounce it La campanella (laah com-pun-el-la)

  • thanks :)

  • cam pa nel la

  • uhh, what are the sharp notes?

  • hayama317 you did a good job ,that uploud this midi ,everyone who want to play he has to learn it as midi and after that he add feelings ...

  • apparently, you're a 'bitch' by counting how many ledger lines there were.

  • i agree but theromanpraetorian there are notes with that alot of legar lines and i dont know why Liszt put it that way he could have did the 8va sign or 15ma (2 octaves higher, put it cause ur a dumbass) he wrote it like that so give it up. hayama--this was really good i liked the line showing you where to look. :) keep it up

  • good sound but bad interpretation!

  • 392023001, keep in mind that this is a COMPUTER. computers can never play like humans;with feeling.

  • send it to me too i want to play it at least^^

  • can you send me the music plz :)

  • hey, could u please send the music sheet to me too??

  • can you send it to me? Please. Thanks

  • Holy moly... that's almost unplayable

  • I agree. It's almost unplayable, but not quite.

  • amazing..!

  • ESE LISZT NO ERA DE ESTE MUNDO

  • HOLY CRAP! THATS FREAKIN FAST

  • if you think this is fast, you should see how Yundi Li or Evegeny Kissin plays it.

  • hey can i plz hav the music sheets to this?

  • I have the MID file

  • can you send it to me??

  • Could you send it to me too please?
