This is too easy! I'd rather hear some one play it without the mechanical(empty feeling) given here. Any computer novicc can do this! Conclusion: this is not music.
O yes it is a difficult piece to play but not as hard as it sounds on most of the parts as there is a certain logic in most of the piece. Therefore is for example transcendental etude nr 4 (Mazeppa) from Liszt much more difficult to play.

The little x means accmented notes which means it is played one note higher than it is read it saves more space they think but it all looks crowded to me.
I'm just wondering how anyone is supposed to play it that fast. especially at the measures at 1:38. My thumbs can't even go taht quick! lmao. It's a cool piece but sort of annoying because of those darn high notes.
hahahhaha i don't know whether sibelius can do this. mine plays 1-minute pieces (consisting mainly of quarter notes) i make with pauses so sometimes i just think there's a lousy sightreader hiding somewhere in my computer :))))
Too mechanically perfect., after a short while you realise it's not a real human player. But interesting none the less.
If the 'program' could include a few subtle variations in tempo and perhaps rather more in dynamics it would be a good substitute - and better than me and many players!
Fascinating to see how the music is read on the sheet; and how on earth it is possible to read it at such speed with such precision and produce this most difficult piece. This girl is no ordinary girl.
@sheilamaclean You don't actually read it at the speed, you learn at a slow pace, build yourself up. Then you memories the right hand (or left hand in some parts) some people can do it easier than others. Then they follow the music and just read the bits they need, and even if they're not reading note for note, it's a rather good guide. Then when they perform we tend not to use sheet music :)
Ah...now that would make sense, I'll try that. thankyou - was aiming for playing without music but thought I'd be cheating by memorising. I've been learning first the right then the left ever so slowly but putting it together is the hard bit but am persevering - thanks for encouragement.
Playing from memory is not cheating at all, all of the best musicians do it. :) Try going along to a slow metranome tick and play both hands together. Works for me, then slowly work your way up when you feel comfortable.
Thanks Stevey226 - am learning Chopin's Prelude No. 7 Opus 28 extra slowly, but a test for chords on both hands (for a beginner) but if I can get through this and play without a mistake am gonna feel great and encouraged to try other pieces. Thanks for your good advice I'll keep perservering!
honestly it is very hard but if you work enough at it and you have a lot of confidence then you will do fine at it. the most important thin is that you shouldn't start off too fast lol.
@meredith5990 And, on sibelius, the notation would look a lot better... you can, for instance, notate trills and melodies on the same hand, rather than having to write out every note of the trill when the melody is playing above it one the same hand.
This must be a MIDI file. The program is either "Notation Musician" or "Notation Composer". In the last one you can compose music, but its not that good (I recommend Sibelius). In Notation Musician you can see the notes of a MIDI file (and listen to the music of course); select just one instrument to play, etc...
@220392123 Even if I had the money, I wouldn't spend it on Sibelius. What do you mean "why does it matter?" Of course price matters! If Sibelius is £300 (or $500) and Finale is $600, I'd rather get finale just because I have used it and I am familiar with it. I'm not degrading Sibelius, but I'm not a supporter.
very clever posting this....hahahah.... I know its hard....my hand can't handle the strain.....this could be a better alternative....good luck to the owner
