So both teams were at fault (though I feel MSU was the "guiltier" party. That type of sportsmanship was a relic of the John L Smith era, though, and I know none of that would ever happen on Dantonio's watch.

Because false start penalties when a lineman jumps early is an obvious screw job. I cant recall who lost to a middle of the road Cal team, while their vaunted Ringer rushed for 3 yards a carry. And who lost to a team projected by many to make the BCS? Get over the fact that no matter how much of a down year Michigan has they will still be better than you.

I'm no MSU fan and they played much better on the road against a BCS school than Meeschegan did at home with biased Big Ten refs who called
8 penalties for 53 yards for the skunkbears
and 15 for 137 yards against the Utes get real, and we will see in two weeks how good the skunkbears are.

Ya know, when one team commits less penalties, they usually get called for less penalties and less yards. That's just common sense, not bias. Grow a pair and take a stance instead of hiding behind shit. MSU played crappy against a crappy defense and gave up mucho points to a crappy offense. Give up the stance that you aren't an MSU fan, it's pretty transparent.

I'm an ND fan and hate both schools, but I watched both games in their entirety and MSU played a much cleaner game than UM did, while MSU was on the road in a hostile environment, UM was at home and clearly had the refs on their side they couldn't get the job done.

MSU did plant a flag in 2003, that I know for a fact. I've never seen any evidence that ND did it in 2004.
