some one please help me. i have bought myself a good computer its a dell xps 8300 just so i can enjoy this game at its fullest. my question is will it run rex and other addons too? because i have it on full setting with no addons and its a bit laggy.

@foxtrot789 you don't have to have your landing lights on. in fact when you are taking lessons, they recommend you to land with them off as well so when your lights don't work you can land without them.

Great vid. I am considering a system with simlar specs. The video seems to show just a little bit of lag. Is this how the sim normally plays or is it a FRAPS issue? Thanks in advance.

@intercepter1 most of the lag will go away with out fraps rec. but you will have lag.

I now have an i7 870 @4ghz. with a gtx 480,and depending on how hard i push fsx, it still has lag,so its up to you but if the computer is for fsx go with the i7 or i5-750 good luck

@intercepter1 Addons like Ground Environment X and Real Environment X are some great FSX addons to free up quite a bit of FPS (up to 15 FPS for me). I don't want to be a downer for this video, because it was quite amazing, but you could a couple of my videos to see what I mean ;)

@1Filmproducer Anything will work, it just depends on what settings you use..you can have all the settings down to what your computer can handle and the flight dynamics will still be 100%, the experience of filght will still be there but the ground detail won"t..
