@immensecat The Airwolf is based on the Bell 222 which is slighty smaller but looks quite similar to the 430. Personally I find that all Bell Helicopters look great. From the smallest to the biggest ones 47G, JetRanger, UH1, 207, 222, 430, 412 etc. Would be nice to have the whole collection ;-)

@BLFAHRENHORST It's a 3 liter tank. From start to cool-down about 12 minutes. Timer beeps at 10 minutes which gives enough time for a last round and landing.

What a difference a good camera makes ! I could tell that your Heli had a great fit & finish, but on this vid I could actually see it. It's nice that you can park on the road and have the sun to your back. By the way, what time of the day did you fly here? There is such thing as an idal time to fly, according to sun to field position, temp, ect... This was perfect for the vid.

I like this videoso much. The Bell 430 RC Helicopter is so real and cool and the sound at the starting "engine" nearly fooled me for the real thing. Great, great moments. At 1:32 and on. Then at the close up shooting in 2:27 whre the sounds are amazingly real.

How did you accomplish that sound?Maybe it is because of my bad sight but at 5:41 I thought it was the real thing and I decided to write to you to thanks.

I understand how the mains survive the turbine exhaust when it's flying, but startup, warm-up, getting the rotor up to speed... everything 'till you pull flying pitch... it seems 600 degrees C would FRY them!

@erkq That's rights and that's why you need to position the main blades at engine start and stop in a way they are not over the exhaust. Exactly as you can see in the film.
