@Ste3DE I would highly suggest ordering the novel off of Manga Gamer then. The anime actually does it so little justice, and if the anime was so amazing, just imagine how good the novel is. In fact, probably the most important pieces of Higurashi are taken out of the anime, messages by probably the most important character in the series

The song is called Dear you ___ there are different versions of this song, sang by different characters through the anime, but the names would be "dear you thanks", "dear you cry", "dear you kind","dear you hope" etc, etc-- there are a lot of versions of this song, I can't remember them all XD
