I am sure Bluth would have done a better job in the sequels and he could have gotten help with makers of the sequel with little chomper. The second movie with chomper as a baby the story seem to gotten confussing since we thought it was ducky's sibling they eggstealers had taken.

The meteor is what ended the Cretaceous period. But what ended the Triassic and Jurassic period is unknown to me. The crocodiles are modern reptiles.
