you want to fix Daniel Bryan and it is very simple, every week have him put of 12 to 18 minutes matches on Smackdown from now until Mania, winning the Majority of them, so he's not the best on the mic, he's proven he can talk on the mic with his tirade on NXT a while back, just have him talk in small doses and let his wrestling do the talking, its so, so simple and basic WWE that it just might work

He's gone a long way. I watched older material of him and he was very mat based, but his matches were slow as molasses. Then he implemented more strikes, MMA related stuff which seemed credible and kept evolving his mat based style. I think that if WWE wants to get the most out of Dragon(and it's pretty obvious that they only would if it means more merchandise to sell), then the best gimmick/persona that Dragon should adopt is of the smug, over-confident, arrogant prick that he acted as during his 15-month reign as ROH World Champion, like ordering announcers to either promote him or belittle his opponent.
I would like to see him do the Dragon plex and reserve tiger suplex -mule kick combo and Backland Bridge out of the rolling reverse in the WWE. Some of those explosive diving moves I don't think they will let him attempt because they are probably considered to dangerous. But good lord they are impressive. The bridging northern lights and that Whiplash suplex should be used more often. And I like the Heal hook, ankle vice type thing which he has used in WWE. Angers me how he is so watered down.
When this industry leaves without hope with some of the terrible wrestlers that make it big , terrible booking of great wrestlers , etc. Guys like Bryan Danielson , CM Punk , Homicide , Samoa Joe , AJ Styles return that hope to me that maybe one day this industry will be known for the wrestling and not for being a joke.
undertaker is a great storyteller, thats why his matches are so good and the mystique of his character, but on a pure wrestling level, he dosent measure up to Danielson

Danielson really is the Best Technical Wrestler in the world. He was with ROH from its very first show in 2002, and finally left in 2010 after a very long and successful career.
His two chants are still among the most memorable in Ring Of Honor.
Man, you guys are idiots. He probably gets payed a lot better in WWE, with better benefits, and even though they cut his moveset down, you can't just expect him to be shot to the top of the company, it is after all a business. It's a choice HE made, so he was obviously very comfortable and wanted what WWE had to offer, the money, the decreased risk of him injuring himself (due to their safe style of wrestling). He DOES get his chances to shine though, calm the f down people.
@pedalpunk57 Yeah, it's him. Took an year off WWE in 2005 and have some AMAZING matches in ROH. He's short and doesn't have great mic skills, but he's an AMAZING pure wrestler. He was able to go toe to toe with wrestlers like Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, Roderick Strong, Christopher Daniels himself and CM Punk.
He eventually beat CM Punk for the ROH World Title and then he lost it to Danielson.
@BlackWind90 Urm, actually, it was James Gibson he defeated for the ROH World Title in Sep 2005. Gibson won it from Punk on Aug 12 2005.
Not only is he a superb wrestler, Danielson is also a great, decent and humble person. In his last few matches in ROH, specifically against Davey Richards and Nigel McGuinness, he stated that he's nothing special, is in fact a boring wrestler, and made it mainly because for some reason the fans loved seeing him in the ring.
For a really superb Danielson match, check out ROH Survival of the Fittest 2004. Never thought a Bear Hug could be done like that. Best In The World, indeed.
@CMY187 That's something that always surprised me about Danielson Matches, but in a good way: He could end matches in extremely unusual ways. I recall him defeating CM Punk with an Abdominal Stretch. When was the last time that ever happened in Wrestling? Or the Bear Hug you spoke of which was preceded by hard consecutive Bodyslams to soften up the back. Or when he started ending matches by ref stoppage because of the MMA Elbows. First I was like "WTF" and then I was like "That was genious!"
@Wurzelknecht Yep, that's what's unique about the American Dragon. Many skilled wrestlers could portray professional wrestling as an art-form. Danielson turned it into a SCIENCE, much like CM Punk did in his trilogy against Samoa Joe(constant headlocks, preventing Joe from using strikes, etc).
Another example of Danielson displaying his scientific wrestling is Manhattan Mayhem II against Takeshi Morishima, which made Match of the Year 2007.
@CMY187 Damn, I still have to watch that show. I only saw Morishima/Danielson at Man Up and that was already a very good, hart hitting match. I think Morishima's title run is still a bit underrated by most people.
But yeah, one of the first things that stood out for me about Dragon, was how real and painful he made his submissions look. Every movement or change of grip that he does makes sense.
And Punk vs Joe II is still my favourite 1hour match of all time ^^

@CMY187 oh I have almost ROH show from 02-06 on DVD I got most of these guys covered XD. But from 2007 on the gaps are huge. I also want to have Manhattan Mayhem II on DVD because I hear how awesome that show has been. I'm not really impressed with the roster of 07 from what I've seen of that year so I mostly look for shows that were really special (like ManUp or Glory by Honor with the Misawa appearance). But Filestube has been really helpful in finding great NOAH or the godly 90s AJPW Matches

I watch a lot of wrestling almost religiously Ive seen a lot of great wrestlers during the years watching and only a 2 made my jaw drop in amazement the first was Eddie Guerrero and now Bryan Danielson. This is what wrestling is not huge 6'5 guys throwing people around.
yeah too bad that there are only 2 titles in WWE that count. and those are the heavyweight titles currently held by miz and edge. all the other titles are worthless. IC ans US title don't even get defended all the time. and IF, then it's a random chosen opponent without storyline, build-up or anything. what's next? give him the comedy tag team titles with mark henry? Aaah...Low Ki and Bryan Danielson in 1 ring...two guys who went to WWE and ruined their career with it. You're only successful there if you're 2meters tall and weight around 120kilo (or more). If you don't look like a steroid-pumped ape you won't win shit there. Just look at guys like Batista...or Cena. They suck in the ring. And people like Bryan, Low Ki or Evan Bourne waste their time being useless in the biggest company. I'd rather make less money but REALLY wrestle in RoH or so.

Danielson is truly the very best technical wrestler in the world. He knows more submission holds than the entire WWE or TNA roster(which isn't saying much).
Danielson won the ROH World Championship from James Gibson(aka Jamie Noble) and defended the belt all over the world, including Japan, before finally losing it to Homicide at ROH Final Battle 2006.
WWE does not deserve Danielson. The man is one of the finest wrestlers in the world, and WWE is the world's biggest disgrace to pro wrestling.

Gibson's match with Samoa Joe for the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship was considered one of the best matches to ever have the Pure Title on the line.
Seeing how he is treated in WWE(portrayed as a scumbag who abused his on-screen girlfriend) and in ROH(no storylines, they just let him wrestle to his full ability) would open a lot of eyes to REAL professional wrestling.

It's not like everyone can do it or do it on the same level, just because the outcome of the match is scripted.

@BlackWind90 Urm, actually, it was James Gibson he defeated for the ROH World Title in Sep 2005. Gibson won it from Punk on Aug 12 2005.
Not only is he a superb wrestler, Danielson is also a great, decent and humble person. In his last few matches in ROH, specifically against Davey Richards and Nigel McGuinness, he stated that he's nothing special, is in fact a boring wrestler, and made it mainly because for some reason the fans loved seeing him in the ring.

@CMY187 That's something that always surprised me about Danielson Matches, but in a good way: He could end matches in extremely unusual ways. I recall him defeating CM Punk with an Abdominal Stretch. When was the last time that ever happened in Wrestling? Or the Bear Hug you spoke of which was preceded by hard consecutive Bodyslams to soften up the back. Or when he started ending matches by ref stoppage because of the MMA Elbows. First I was like "WTF" and then I was like "That was genious!"

@Wurzelknecht Yep, that's what's unique about the American Dragon. Many skilled wrestlers could portray professional wrestling as an art-form. Danielson turned it into a SCIENCE, much like CM Punk did in his trilogy against Samoa Joe(constant headlocks, preventing Joe from using strikes, etc).
Another example of Danielson displaying his scientific wrestling is Manhattan Mayhem II against Takeshi Morishima, which made Match of the Year 2007.

@CMY187 Damn, I still have to watch that show. I only saw Morishima/Danielson at Man Up and that was already a very good, hart hitting match. I think Morishima's title run is still a bit underrated by most people.
But yeah, one of the first things that stood out for me about Dragon, was how real and painful he made his submissions look. Every movement or change of grip that he does makes sense.
And Punk vs Joe II is still my favourite 1hour match of all time ^^

I also highly recommend ROH matches involving: CM Punk, Austin Aries, James Gibson, Low Ki, Naomichi Marufuji, Roderick Strong, Alex Shelley, Christopher Daniels, and ESPECIALLY my two favourite wrestlers, KENTA and Samoa Joe.
To be called Best In The World in a place like Ring Of Honor...Danielson is already a legend in his own right.

@CMY187 oh I have almost ROH show from 02-06 on DVD I got most of these guys covered XD. But from 2007 on the gaps are huge. I also want to have Manhattan Mayhem II on DVD because I hear how awesome that show has been. I'm not really impressed with the roster of 07 from what I've seen of that year so I mostly look for shows that were really special (like ManUp or Glory by Honor with the Misawa appearance). But Filestube has been really helpful in finding great NOAH or the godly 90s AJPW Matches

I watch a lot of wrestling almost religiously Ive seen a lot of great wrestlers during the years watching and only a 2 made my jaw drop in amazement the first was Eddie Guerrero and now Bryan Danielson. This is what wrestling is not huge 6'5 guys throwing people around.

yeah too bad that there are only 2 titles in WWE that count. and those are the heavyweight titles currently held by miz and edge. all the other titles are worthless. IC ans US title don't even get defended all the time. and IF, then it's a random chosen opponent without storyline, build-up or anything. what's next? give him the comedy tag team titles with mark henry? WWE is screwing up all the talented guys cause the only thing that counts in WWE is the main event ;)

Aaah...Low Ki and Bryan Danielson in 1 ring...two guys who went to WWE and ruined their career with it. You're only successful there if you're 2meters tall and weight around 120kilo (or more). If you don't look like a steroid-pumped ape you won't win shit there. Just look at guys like Batista...or Cena. They suck in the ring. And people like Bryan, Low Ki or Evan Bourne waste their time being useless in the biggest company. I'd rather make less money but REALLY wrestle in RoH or so.

Danielson is truly the very best technical wrestler in the world. He knows more submission holds than the entire WWE or TNA roster(which isn't saying much).
Danielson won the ROH World Championship from James Gibson(aka Jamie Noble) and defended the belt all over the world, including Japan, before finally losing it to Homicide at ROH Final Battle 2006.
WWE does not deserve Danielson. The man is one of the finest wrestlers in the world, and WWE is the world's biggest disgrace to pro wrestling.

Gibson's match with Samoa Joe for the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship was considered one of the best matches to ever have the Pure Title on the line.
Seeing how he is treated in WWE(portrayed as a scumbag who abused his on-screen girlfriend) and in ROH(no storylines, they just let him wrestle to his full ability) would open a lot of eyes to REAL professional wrestling.

@JAYJAYDAREALIST Well you still have to be good at doing the moves, taking the moves, selling moves, building a match, understanding wrestling psychology, remembering spots, timing, bringing the best out of your opponent, having the endurance for longer matches, have a great variety of moves, being able to quickly transcend from one move to another, and so on and so on. It's not like everyone can do it or do it on the same level, just because the outcome of the match is scripted.
