A song for my my ex-wives (all 3 of them). Even though this was not one of their best, I miss hearing it on the radio. Almost overnight, grunge took over the airwaves and all the old went away. It was like when cd's replaced records. One day you go into a record store and they got tons of vinyl and the next day, almost all of it is gone. Sadly, this happened only a few years before the music all changed.

The scene simply died due to lots of bands releasing sissy ballads (this is a cool semi ballad) and caring more about image than creativity. When the 90's came everyone was hungry for something different and they got it via Pearl Jam, nirvana , Alice and chains etc. its ok to like 90's as well as 80's I listen to 60's all the way up to some of the new music of today. It's all rock to me just different eras. The 80's were fun time but sadly 30 years gone.

@Whiskey150 There are always leaders and followers in all genres. The Crue, Bon Jovi, and Def Leppard led, but others probably followed more than lead. In the 90's, there were also the leaders: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, but there were also LOTS of followers. Thinking that Glam had no creativity but grunge had all this "creativity" is not accurate. Some guys in the 80's grabbed a can of aquanett and started a band just as much as some in the 90's grabbed a flannel shirt and did too....
