People who post stuff like this should make the distinction between mineral and organically based minerals and metals. The body cannot absorb mineral based iron, like iron filings for instance if one ingested them. Only organically derived minerals and metals can be absorbed into the body. The iron featured here actually demonstrates that organic iron is also attracted to electromagnetic fields but, in fact, it is something quite different biologically and should not be confused.

For everyone who is reading this comment, the iron in food is NOT supposed to be the same as the metal iron. Spinach does not follow a magnet, neither does any other vegetable, or food that naturally has iron in it. Things which say: Extra Iron!!! sometimes have the metal iron in it. It has no use for your body whatsoever, you'll just poop it out.
