Hehe Shadow I actually Was here for this too. I remember My best friend went up to play guitar. I was supposed to join him on bass but the previous day a glass bottle broke in my hand I could barely move my fingers... I remember you tried to get me to go up.
This was the highlight of that day. We chilled up in club otaku for like 3 hours.
Haha, it's fine. Nice talking to you though. You going to Katsucon? LoL, I personally like Katsucon a bit better, Otakon's a bit too big for my taste, and Katsucon seems to have a better arcade room. Didn't see a projector screen throughout my whole stay at the arcade place.
This is Noah here... Co-head of Club Otaku (JamSpace) at Otakon. I sent an email to AnimeUSA and Katsucon regarding running the same kind of room at each of their cons... AnimeUSA is too close and didn't have enough notice to do it. Katsucon has yet to respond, but we're hopeful.
Hmm. . Dom talked to me about this. I sent the letter Dom sent me about the whole Jamspace thing to the Programmer in Katsucon. So hopefully they've replied by now. If they haven't just e-mail me. I'll ask again.
Yeah, it's because we got a new chairman and everything. :( I think next year will be back at Omni. We'll see, were you guys there for Magfest, I didn't get to go.
Yeah, we were at MAGFest. We got 24h video capture from almost everything music going on... So that will be a couple weeks until it's sorted out. I've got all of the .wav recordings on my computer...
by any chancew did you record any of the other jams bro i was in that room for most of that day and i remember this one. there were some other awesome jams though
I have some from the same people. But I'm mostly sad I didn't record my friend that jammed with Dom.
xrisingforcex check him out, he's pretty good. But besides that, nah not really.
LoL! it sucked that they decided to bring out the Fenders Tube Amp on like Saturday + Sunday. My friend, xrisingforcex, was playing on Friday when they had that crappy solid state Fender Amp.
Club Otaku was awesome! Reminded me of the many open-mic nights in State College.
This was one of the best bits of programming at the entire con. I'm still surprised that not many people showed up to check it out. Hope you guys will bring it back for 2009!
This room was called "Club Otaku" Dom is the guy on keyboards, and is a programmer for Firaxis studios. I was other head staff member of the room. (The tall Asian guy with the bandana) that you can see taking a picture at the side.

Aww, who gave a 4 star. LoL Giant fagget, anyways! >.> Not you, but yeah! I go to Katsucon more often though.
1. I work there.
2. I like the arcade room a lot better.
3. It's more interesting, I see it from a better point of view since I guess I do security stuff, see people doing crazy stuff haha.
One guy in Katsucon raved for like 9-12 hours straight and busted his equaliburium or w/e and bled through his ears LOL!

Unfortunately, Katsucon downsized this year, so we aren't going to be able to hold a Katsucon JamSpace this year.
