I've been fortunate to hear this sung live by Chanticleer several times. The first time, I just sat in the audiotirum with tears running down my face, it was so beautiful. It still can make me cry, in fact. It's just perfection.

This is my favorite Chanticleer piece of all time. Impeccable pitch and balance. I appreciate it even more when I hear other groups attempt to match this standard. Baritones rule!

What Chanticleer CD is this version of Ave Maria on? I can't find it

I was unaware of this particular version of Ave Maria until a friend turned me on to the Chanticleer CD that featured it. As one who has loved taking part in choral singing in my high school & college years, this song reminded me once again of why the choral experience is like no other. And it's not too often at all that one piece of music can bring me to tears. This is simply one of the most beautiful choral works ever written, if not one of the greatest songs of all time.

This song is AMAZING! it brings goosebumps every time i hear it. I feel so blessed that i got to sing this song with all of you guys. This was one of the best experiences i had in music! Specially the Amen part was so surreal. I dont think i felt anything like that before. When i was singing it, it just felt right. So thank you for that
