There'e still a couple things they could have tried...They could have had recordings of eachother voices for that first test..or the big one, they should have had people with the same basic facial structure wear the masks instead of just wearing eachothers...i mean in the tv show/first 2 movies ethan only wore masks of people with his basic structure as would the real secret agents......still an amazing epidsode cant believe i missed this one..

They should re-try this myth but if they do, they should re-model the masks a bit so that the mask's mouth can synchronise with the user's mouth and such. And they should also let Kari participate as well. Like let some other girl disguise herself as her, but before let Kari say to Tory and Grant like she lost a bet and has to remain silent for the remainder of an episode or so, just to fool them. Then as she goes out, the doppelganger comes in and let's see if that would work. Just a suggestion

@scarygoat88 The masks are so fat because they were not custom-fitted to Adam and Jamie's heads; they were made using a generic head mold. Had this been done (which they mention they did not do on purpose) the masks would have been much more convincing, I think.

I've seen a couple news stories where a few people wear masks like these to commit crimes. One was a white dude with the mask of a black man robbing a bank and one was a Chinese guy with a mask of an old white guy on an international flight. Both were caught though. Mythbusters is still awesome though.

The problem with this test is that the victims know the subject... also the mask is not some random person, so trying to look the same as another person will obviously appear more bulkier in the face
