Gracias a Droidean, porque estos videos son sumamente didacticos y permiten ,conocer, analizar, entender y explicarse mas didacticamentecual ha sido la generacion de obras musicales que son hitos en la historia de la musica.
thank you so much for putting this up!!! i really wanted to buy the series to support the orchestra and everything, but i'm quite broke and also my dvd player got busted... :/
I've gotten two of them and they're only about $20.00 if I remember. Could you post the complete performance of the Rite? I have the DVD but others need to see this. Also, if I had to choose, Beethoven.

Da gracia pensar que el wiro se usa tanto en la cumbia como en esta pieza...

I thought I had a good understanding of the work, then I saw all the ink on the score.

I love Michael Thomas! He really brings the music alive. Much better than a stuffy old guy just waving a stick on cue.

I don't listen to this as "music". It's something completely different.

That`s not the bass drum, that`s the timpani, and because they play in the same time, it seams like it`s bass drum.

thank you thank you thank you thank you! I remember watching this program on PBS years ago and I remember searching all over the net for clips.
Michael Tilson Thomas is really quite intelligent in music analysis, I love how he disects the piece for us non musical/ballet people.
If you have any other episodes of keeping score, would you please post them, pretty please?
