It was reissued in Japan in 1996, though it has since gone out of print. HOWEVER, Tracie just signed a deal with Cherry Red that will include a new reissue of that LP

Hey, amazing. Been on the lookout for this for years, too! It was played loads on the early-morning programme on BFBS radio in Germany back in 1984, but they never anounced the title so I was left in the dark. Via the Internet, I learnt much later that Elvis C. (the true king) had written it - it all becomes clear when you listen to the melody. Beautiful song Elvis, great voice Tracie!

1984 I met my first true love. This song ,has deep memories .Been searching for years.I also sing it all the time.Tracie performed this on top of the pops.I hope it is still around.Far from the hurting kind was a brilliant album,but my favourite will always be i love you when you sleep.Haunting ,romantic,and beautiful.Thank-you for posting this,THANK YOU TRACIE ,for singing this.
