I don't understand what they're saying, but the song is beautiful. And at least Fulla looks like she has a better life than Barbie. Barbie dolls really ARE a bad influence on young girls. I should know, I grew up with barbies, and I know that I always knew she was too sexualized. Fulla is a little TOO modest for America though, she'd be shunned as being "repressed". If they could find a good medium ground between Barbie and Fulla they'd have the perfect doll.

I have lived in the Persian Gulf where Fulla is from and I did not see anyone forcing any woman to wear an abaya, it is a personal choice.

As for having guy friends, there's nothing I want from them except their friendship. It's like saying "What can you get from a female friend you can't already get from your mother?" it stops these things like adultery , and jealousy.there is beauty in only sharing your self with your husband,you know cheating isn't just sexual or physical.having a close emotional and personal bond with someone other than your husband is also sharing your self.and it goes both ways he wouldn't have any girlfriends.I see how it can be weird to you,but honestly it proves for a really healthy relationship, marriage , family structure and overall society . That's not common sense... if I love my husband, truly love my husband, then there would be no temptation to cheat whatsoever.
The emotional and personal bond *would* be close, but you married him in the first place right? Obviously there was something stronger there that wasn't there with other people.
I have guy friends and absolutely no thought of doing anything sexual with them. It would be disgusting... I love them as I do my girlfriends, as brothers.
