every time you go tokyo disney resort when you meet like wendy alice snow white you may hear character host speak english from uk and austraila not from japan and if hotel bulit two why your picture already strating bulit late nov 2005?
The face characters are all usually caucasians from N. America, Europe, Australia, etc. in order to match the cartoon character's appearance closer. Many character CM's also say a few Japanese phrases.
Usually shows & parades are made in the US originally for the Japanese parks. However, smaller shows are produced in Japan. All music is done in the US, though.
Hahaha. That's a good question. I think the Japanese side (OLC) comes up with the names or image. And then Disney finds a fitting similar title in English. So at times the name seems too long or wordy in English.
Nope, not sure yet. But perhaps something that will preview the Park's 25th Anniversary for next year. 2008 is also the year of the Rat (Mouse, in Japan). So there will probably be a tie-in to that.
For me, I liked Mickey's float. Even though Santa is usually the finale, still it looks right for Mickey. Overall, Mickey's my favorite character. To tell you the truth, he looks cute dressing up as Santa with the beard.
I liked Minnie's angels float. It looks a lot better in person than in pictures or video. My favorite character is Mickey, of course. :-) How about for you?

so park and rides bulit in tokyo disney resort took 3 years ?
muffles12 4 years ago
Most attractions take just over a year. The whole of TDS took about three years to build. The Hotels take about two years.

The Parks and Hotels are designed by Walt Disney Imagineering in the US. But they are built mostly by Japanese contractors.

If I was Disney, Santa belonged at the end. Mickey at least could haven been with Minnie at the start.

In past parades, Santa had been on the final float. In Tokyo parades, Mickey has been known to appear in the first, middle or final floats.

Who was the brain surgeon who decided to put Santa in the middle of the parade and Mickey at the end?
JamesCraven2007 4 years ago
Well, it may have been OLC's idea to do it, but in the end Disney must have approved it. Hehehe.
