  • ive listened to this song all the time and ive noticed the beginning sounds like a dryer in a laundry room :p

  • I hit this beat with a disdain for mixtapes.

Come harder than the way peanut brittle breaks.

Slash with visceral lyrics like a switchblade.

Oddball references, a testament to a mistake.

Born on accident in the kitchen, like juice from squished grapes,

    my liquid-phased, switched-place syllables,

are aimed to displace trust in imitatin' thugs

who see all others as inferior and killable.

Hand-cannons hold limited clips to expel,

a seasoned tongue can burn holes in your head like Nextel.

  • Bdice3 sent me here lol

  • Large Professor sampled the same joint for the outro of "The LP" off his first album.

  • Two doses of med's in an elevated relax mind rest

Got two bitches that threat to leave go ahead i got more weaves to blow like a mex

I Can do what i want in my lexus with Alexis and Alex

You down with the same schedule im switching up the daily routine check list

Checking daily cash registers while I register for governor of planet earth that's a daily objective

Fuck rapping i'll give this bitch the christmas present unrapped As Im silent and seductive ur shit rubbish no longer in her apartment

  • teach me how to rap

preach me how to creep in the black

take me back to the city of racks

where the suns on full attack and the bitches never fat

addicted to the game like crack

rappin on youtube man the idea is whack

if your doin it your game is on slack.

but its fun and that is a fact

so when the beats over just run it on back.

  • this beats like butter, and my ears are like corn.

  • once the bass kick in im micrphone rippin gang starr baby i load the full clip in let these shells just rattle out my boca hottest weapon out and my jaw is my holster see i be spittin rhymes feelin dimes smokin mine sittin on the sidelines waitin for overtime cuz the hero hittin shots in the clutch im pourin cliqo in the locker room lighten a dutch true blooded winner amped up sinner fuck waitin around i go get my dinner money hungry so get that cash honey do what you do and bring it back for me
  • im old school and hate that new shit

cant hear me well you better get q-tip

get left if you cant get it right dog

because im a 5 foot assassin like phife dog

i got enough common sense to see the light dog

and you a whole lotta bark and no bite dog/ its aight yall

im here to bring hip hop back

on a quest with my tribe to rip all tracks

  • Beautiful music we used to have!

  • @JMVEntertainment haha.thanks man! i have a few uploads that have more views....but for this joint right here...it's simply amazin!!!! 1 btw bro....check my new channel:)

  • @BeaTJunKiE82 this should have 1 million views and not today's music

  • UGH @ "T.I" EVEN BEING MENTIONED. IN THE SAME SENTENCE AS TRIBE.

  • my brain's proportionate,

it's full of knowledge/ your's has nothing but corny porn in it,

    and that's unfortunate

hiphop for me? I know there's no fortune init

but i get a rush of endorphins like Christians torchin abortion clinics

go to funerals, open the coffin and put a ton of exotic orchids in it,

I've been called a morbid cynic, a liar, an asshole

one time i lit the flag on fire, and pulled it up a flagpole

just for a laugh splittin' a dutch to get passed nothing is something at last

  • Beautiful!

    Super smooth

  • Pig man, pig man, I got a question to ask, What's wrong, why ya stressin the grass? I'm sorry, didn't mean to be cool n' calm For you I'll quit, and fill a school wit bombs Come home, n' hit my girl wit open palms, Maybe later on shoot up the local bar, And drive away 90 after I stole the car, Who said you had to spend money to make money? Be like me, take money it's great trust me The pigs took my one love, I'm returning the favor, Causin havoc, from stealin, to burnin my neighbors... Fuck you.
  • T.I. took this beat for "why you wanna?"

  • @agurf2 He actually took that from Crystal Waters - "Gypsy Woman".

  • @agurf2 no not really....;) 1

  • @BeaTJunKiE82 nope...he just too a line from Find A Way...nothing about the beat was used in T.I.'s track...The beat was a sample from Gypsy Woman

  • @agurf2 T.I sampled the song "Homeless" from Crystal Waters, search for it :)

  • @Bildam1 ha homeless is the parody lol. scooby doo where are happy days and oj too

  • @agurf2 "Gypsy Woman" sorry

  • @Bildam1

  • @agurf2 no he didn't thats a song caled gypsy woman by some chick this is totally different

  • @agurf2 why u wanna was sampled from crystal waters "gypsy woman"

  • @agurf2 T.I. ´s "why you wanna?" was sampled from Crystal Waters´s "Gypsy Woman" :D

  • Ha, nah, he didn't.. But, it does sound like "Why U Wanna?" a little bit.

  • @agurf2 That would be Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters

  • @agurf2 seems like it tho huh...

  • @agurf2 T.I. took Crystal Waters' Gypsy Woman. Not this track.

  • @agurf2 he sampled "gypsy woman" by crystal waters

  • @agurf2 TI actually sampled "Gypsy Woman" by Crystal Waters, not this song.

  • @agurf2 no he got that beat from Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)

  • i started my life with nothin but its still something keepinit real no matter whos drummin i take it on whatever shape or form im looking for the best who can ace a test at best and no matter how it goes my flow is better than yoursand it shows the fear coming outa your pours might be quick with no delay im on a roll now its time to pay keep it real anyday might be young and i dont come from the slums no bum or glum always happy with everyday life keep your mind on strifeand glow positivly slow

  • Home grown thoughts with my head up in the sky

Like a hand-made kite ready to take flight

'Cause I'm chillin' in serenity, these moments are the best of me

I avoid expectin' much, to dodge bein' in a rut

It's the calm, steady, easy feelin' that I love

But when shit hits the fan, murderin' all my future plans

I still get back up and remember where I began

Never matter over mind, 'cause this mind is mine

Stayin' true to life's coastin', all the damn time.

  • why did they get rid of the one with lyrics?

  • One of my favorite joints off The Love Moment. There's something mad nostalgic about this beat that helps me escape the everyday madness whenever I hear this.

  • This has to be my favorite TCQ jam.

  • didnt knew the instrumental was tha ill, i use to listen the song, but the instrumental is dope

  • what ass whole disliked this must of been piss drunk going for the like button n missed it

  • so basically the Ummah consisted of Dilla, Q-Tip, Rafael Saddique, and i believe ?love...however Questlove and others say Dilla was a major influence of most of their albums and most of their famous singles were dilla produced...i mean you can hear both Tip and Dilla on this beat tho...

  • the track is heat

  • dcvzxcvzcxccx

  • [SD's] the City where I Come-From and where I drop [BommmbZ]!!!,...n I'm Still Thugginnn!!!...Stiiill WestCoast Lovinnn!!!...Stiiill Puffinnn!!!...Stiiill Mackin-Bitches by the Dozen!!!..I'm Stiiil Hustlinnn'-Makin' dem hundreddds!!!.

  • @kimwayan Thanks for the Info! Q-tip def does not get enough credit! I always thought ali shaheed muhammad was doing most of the beats and Q-tip was just doing some here and there....I love learning about hip hop! Q-tip is a true artist.

  • Can you please send this to me!?!? solefood90@yahoo.com

  • this beat is a lil old school but its alrite so i get my pen and my notebook and begin to write this ryhmes that will make you look deeper then the beat and the hook and listen to the lyrics cus i hope when you hear it and you'll understand that my pen and my notepad is the most dealiest weapon i have i dont need to have a gun to blast i just need to bumb my speakers this verse is for the real hip hop seekers my rymes will only get stronger and never weaker my pad & pen are my dearest friends
  • Yo rhyimg writing with my pad and pen ajersey kid representing the east for 2010,although some say i should stop, hip hop is dead negative comments dont really get to my head,i like rapping like a hobby is whut i do a slol artist i dont need to have my own crew,BUT WHOEVER WANTS TO RAP GET AT ME,yea well try to bring back the meaning of mc.

  • Hey yo, dimes? Look out, let me at this lighter... Check the check and tangled script... I make babies astonished and ladies cry.. Why? I dunno, I just do.. let me tell you.. On Q and on point with my joint.. I don't stare I don't point.. I stay awake and take the day as it arrives.. Like days of our lives tho never seen the shit.. Look at it macgyver in the joint as I hit.. Benjamin franklin couldn't have invented it.. Nostrodamus cound't have predicted it... I put wrastlin moves on rhymes
  • wait was 'the ummah' another name for jaydee when he was making their beats?

it's got that vibe that dilla had in all his old beats.

sun shinin' on a cool day, puffin herb.

  • @Atetrakz q-tip was also member of the ummah....

  • @BeaTJunKiE82

okay, so then it's a group of people not one person, got it.

my main question though is, is this a jaydee beat?

  • @Atetrakz i don't know who really made this beat (credits say: the ummah)...jay dee or q-tip....i guess both together...but if i was q-tip...i would let dilla make all the work. lol

  • @BeaTJunKiE82 Who ever made this beat this shit is fire great upload once again for 2,712th time!! I would love to just chill and talk music with you, you have a great taste in music!!

  • @SergMgert4285 thx bro! thank you very much! that would be really great...but all of u guys live soooooooo far away...:(

  • @SergMgert4285 jdilla

  • @Atetrakz on the love movement album a handful of tracks like find a way and the booty were produced by dilla, pad & pen and like it like that for example were produced by q-tip, production for the whole album is credited to the ummah, a group q-tip founded consisting of himself, dilla and ali shaheed muhammad (who had very little to do with the production)

  • @Atetrakz and @SergMgert4285 and @BeaTJunKiE82 The Ummah is the music production group made up of Q-Tip and Ali Shaheed Muhammad from A Tribe Called Quest, along with genius and best producer ever J. Dilla aka Jay Dee (James Dewitt Yancey)

  • @Atetrakz the ummah (which means "brotherhood" in arabic) consisted of dilla, q tip, and ali shaheed. it was a three man production team.

  • @Atetrakz According to his discog, this is not a Jay Dee beat.

  • @BeaTJunKiE82 so was Shaheed

  • @BeaTJunKiE82 the ummah (which means "brotherhood" in arabic) consisted of dilla, q tip, and ali shaheed. it was a three man production team.

  • @Atetrakz the ummah was a producing collective consisting of ali shaheed muhammad, q-tip and a young, more or less unknown jay dee. most people always claim q-tip stole jay dee's credit by releasing everything under the ummah-brand and, although jay dee would definitely develop his own recognizable sound, it's mostly forgotten that his primary inspiration source was q-tip so he definitely helped him develop his style

  • @kimwayan That's what I like to hear? Where you hear that from?

  • @Tonyt531 i read it in diffirent q-tip and dilla interviews. most people keep forgetting that q-tip was a major influence on dilla as a producer and that q-tip was a superproducer at the time (that's why nas wanted q-tip alongside large professor, dj premier and pete rock on illmatic). way too many people think everything should be credited to dilla, but q-tip solely produced the first 3 tribe albums and those are all as classic as it gets!

  • listen, producing incorporates alot of different things. it starts with the sample. because all members were part of sample collecting, they all had a part to play in production. q tip may have been the one which made the beats but all were part of the process. thats why it was credited as 'a tribe called quest'. but he didnt do all of it. electric relaxation for a example was produced by ali shaheed.

  • @nemesis700 no q-tip produced it!!! q-tip produced tribe's first 3 albums!!!!!!

  • man shut the fuck up. where did you hear that q tip produced ALL of the first 3 albums? i prolly read or seen the same interviews you did, in none of em he says he produced ALL three albums. phife dawg went on record and said that shaheed produced Electric Relaxation. change the fuckin name you fraud.

  • @nemesis700 yes he did dumb shit!!! he felt like the whole group deserved credit so for the first 3 albums, he put produced by: a tribe called quest!!! not: q-tip!!!! whether shaheed got the beat or not, tip produced the whole shit so shut up!!!

  • you dont know what youre talkin about. tell me where you seen that q tip produced ALL of the first three albums..........you cant. didnt you read the whole of my comment? phife dawg went on RECORD to say shaheed produced Electric Relaxation. tip never disputed it

  • @nemesis700 Q-Tip did a radio interview in Toronto and said that he "did all the music for tribe"...whch suggests that he did the first three albums. I also saw an interview on Yo MTV Raps...Freddy asked Shaheed about being tribe's producer, and Shaheed basically said "not so fast, I'm not the only one in the group who produces."

  • @nemesis700 Where did he say that Shaheed produced it? Link me that intervew.

  • @nemesis700 There's an interview on Peter Rosenberg's show where Q-tip himself states that he produced the first 3 albums with the exception of Push it Along and Keep it Rolling.

  • @nemesis700 you need to read this moovmntDOTcomSLASH2009/04/19/exclusive-q-tip-interview/

  • the best how my flow keeps on coastin,

boastin more flow than the coast of an ocean,

bestowed with a gift to keep words in motion,

flow blows rivals off like pests,

and shows, how I , be tribal like quest,

    questioning the bible,all a guess,

if god can see everything we do we confess?

  • Animal samples trample slack rappas, leaving tracks back to the fasta rappa, I aint never sell crack cuz Im a cracka, I aint ever strapped but il smack ya, I aint close to black but shit can I rap, and I know where the good shits at, underground where the thunder beats pound, and we spit lightning quick over intricate sound, bound together to create, phrases flowin in stages and phases, growin on pages, out the outragious, mouth so contagious, amazes,
