Holy hell. I knew it was the same voice actor... but whoa. I was just surprised it was so deep. His voice obviously deepened in the latter half of season 3. But it's just downright deep here. They must've forgot to do a pitch edit.

im thinking since they always the voice actors always record before the animation is done the voice acting he did for the show he did a long time ago. My guess is they just asked him to come back and do this commercial recently. and since then his voice got deeper. if that makes any since

No actually when they hit season three his voice got deeper and they had to pitch up his voice, but the creators actually said it was okay for his voice to get deeper during the show because Avatar is about growth, but of course they were ignored. And no, it was not a long time ago actually. They did not get to finish the finale until 2 weeks after the NYCC (New York Comic Con). So they finished the finale in about early May and the voice actors can't record without the animation first.

Aang's VA has had that voice for a while now, infact, his voice started to get deeper since the Season 2 Finale, but for Season3, the sound editors raised the pitch of his voice to make him sound the same, that was confirmed in an interview with Mike and Bryan.

Man he sounds cool! i hope we get to hear him use that voice for a few scenes =D
