i keep wondering this: how the hell do you get the lip flaps so perfect? it can't just be a matter of speeding up/slowing down the clips to fit, because when i do that it only looks good around half the time. the other half it fits but looks slightly choppy. any tips there?

@elementalheroshadowX Most of the time abridgers just take a shot where only a character's mouth is moving, then use a still frame of their mouth open and shut. Most of what I do is just slowing down, speeding up and reversing video. It's not easy, so it really just takes patients.

@EvilChicken25 i think you just told me i'm doing it right but need more practice, so thanks man. btw, i think it's just gargoyles that's a problem in that regard, being american animation and all. i recently started doing 009 as well, and anime is ridiculously easy coming off this.

@elementalheroshadowX The problem is that Disney animation, and American animation in general, animates someone talking with their face and body moving, just like it might in real life. Japanese animations usually just have the mouth moving on it's own with everything else still.
