how much have you shot the thing since this review, has it been reliable?

@sam15482 Only been able to shoot a few magazines throw it. seems to be pretty reliable. no jams. going to try to take to the range and do some shooting on video. will post when i do.

@sam15482 If you feed it high velicity ammo it will run like a champ. its just like a p22 where it hates low velocity crap.

@bladeimm no. its what they had at the time. i got it to start practicing with and to see how relevant it was in a survival situation. i have a black one also that i use in real world situations.

I had one about 15 years or so ago and it was fun to shoot but it seemed to jam up a lot, tried all kinds of .22 ammo

Again it was fun to shoot and if you can shoot you will hit your target no prob.

@supernuetralhero i am pretty sure you have to order them from a place online. I got mine from Gander Mountain and to get the black one you had to order it online. and yes, I misspoke. its an 8 round magazine.

Why would you get the silver finish model?

@BlightedJosh because i bought it to train with and it was the only model available at the time. I am more of a train as you fight kind of guy. This is my practice rifle. I have a second one that is in the black finish that I will have for the field.

@SuperScguy This is a situation specific rifle if that makes sense. It is meant for camping and the like, so if you plan on that, this is a great rifle to have because since it packs into its self, it will fit in a back pack perfect. but if you want something to plink with and just shoot around with, I would go more towards a remington or a marlin. Good rifles for plinking and don't cost alot. hope this helps.

its just a silver-type finish. Its brand new. just bought it coupole weeks ago. From what I know, its the same as the older models. just different finish. although, it does has a scope rail which some i have seen don't.
