that were made to strike the liberty bell with,,they striked the liberty bell 3 times,,theres 3 full rings it has an erie sound to it because of the crack thats in the bell,,it has like a muffled sound to it because of the crack,,the cd is a patrotic cd and has other songs but theres an area on the cd where all is quiet and they strike the liberty bell 3 times ,,its the ONLY KNOWN RECORDING OF THE LIBERTY BELL IN EXCISTANCE,,,I WAS LUCKY TO GET THE CD THE CD IS NO LONGER IN PRINT
as I understand it the claper of the liberty bell was removed,,and and way back in when the liberty bell was in the tower the colonsets hid the liberty under the church floor to save the bell from bring deystroyed by the british she was saved,,I recently have purchased a CD that is called LIBERTY BELL,,it has the only known recording on it of the REAL LIBERTY BELL,,what they did was back in 1959 columbia speacial products had speacial leather hammers
