Let me say this: I think his response to Ron Paul during the 2nd debate was ill informed and showed that his foreign policy compass is off center. I think because of the fact that 911 hit him so close to home that his judgment is clouded. If Rudy were the U.S. Attorney prosecuting any of 911 co-conspirators he would have to remove himself from the proceedings because his legal judgment would be impaired.

I am a life long Republican but if this man gets the nod I will leave the party and follow Ron Paul as an Indepedent. Our foreign policy is flawed to the core. We need a fundemental shift in how we view the world and our place in it. I am Italian as well, but I don't think he stands for any of the Catholic/Christian princples that you and I share. The man divorced his wife, supports the pro-choice movement. I don't see how he is a good man.

It is legal right now in every state...The Supreme Court needs 1 vote (most likely) to have a chance of overturing Roe and sending the issue back to the states.

I just would like hear a reason why he is a good man? You might argue that he was an effective leader...but an effective mayor with police power is different from an effective president.

I didn't mention why I thought he was a good man in my last post because I felt it inappropriate. As silly as it may sound to you, the reason I think he's a good man is simple, I have a good feeling about him when I hear him speak. He's eloquent and honest. There were many eloquant and effective leaders that made people feel good but were terrible for their people and the world. (Hitler for one). What IS relevant to the discussion over Giuliani as president is his stance on policy, and I find it refreshing to hear a presidential candidate who actually knows of and talks about conflicts prior to the vietnam war. And here I thought I was the only one who remembered the battle of the bulge...
