wow --just found this video of the great event -I'm the fireperson on the J15 travelling in the opposite direction ! with the quad arts- great views for me, of a stunning event 4 minutes into the film

Great stuff - especially the shots from Beeston Bump. I watched many a train form there as a boy.

What was the delay in leaving Norwich? It looked as if the train was half empty by then.

the train was full but there were some coaches left at norwich due to the nature of things at cromer and some of the loops and at norwich i think they kept losing path
