1:40 ouch, but as bad as it seems it was prob better to stay on the bike. depends what you will land on. if its flat like that u can brake ur legs or ankles really easy. if u land with the bike it will take away some of the impact. it seems better t jump but not all the time.

yes that stuff does protect u from the majority of injuries, some can't be helped. the suits are made mostly of leather with padding at the joints, shins and back. some of the suits the pros wear even use carbon fiber-kevlar pads.
