I would like to get a robot dog from Japan. I've wanted a dog for a while but I don't like the thought of walking a dog in all types of weather. I also don't like the thought of walking a dog at night, when it's dangerous for a single female to be walking about, especially since I live in the city. I saw a robot dog at a show held in Japan and fell in love with it. It's perfect for me and others in similar situations. I heard it described best as, "It's a dog, but without the mess." <3 Too cute!
Hi. Aprox by the year 2020 a laptop will reach the human brain potential for processing data which means that there is a huge market waiting for hundreds of billions dollars to be sold or invested in humanoid robots and intelligent systems and the beginning of the bigger industry ever maid in human history. Search on Google luisbeck007 you will find the most complete humanoid robot list in the World, good information and interesting issues.
SONY discontinued AIBO after they had major financial issues. They had to cut productions of certain products, and the robotics department just didn't make the cut.

Seen these here before, It's Sony's new Aibo, I heard they've stopped making them. They were just too expensive, and noone could really afford one.

Sony have stopped making Aibos, so finding a new one will probably be difficult. you can get them on ebay but be careful that you don't get scammed.
the reason it has a leash is not to stop it from getting away....it's to stop people stealing it...they a rather expensive robotic pets.
I have 1 or 2 myself

i may get one but how much did urs cost and how much can it cost now like on ebay?

@jakskingdom
The cost depends on the model you want. The ERS-7s are about $1000-$3000.
Do some AIBO research. ^^
