@AmanteDellaMusica93. I didn't realize proper grammar was a prerequisite, before anyone can post their thoughts, regarding a video that one had viewed. I find it quiet funny that several of you are so petty & utterly asinine that you have to be so judgmental, rude, & critical of anothers post! Talk about someone who's bored & hasn't a life...I think you must be terribly alone & have way too much free time!!!! Get a life, loosen up, & just chill !!
To be fair: Yes, this is a Pittsburghese accent, albeit somewhat exaggerated. However, Pittsburgh English does share a few dialectal features with dialects from the American South, such as the /a/ vowel (the sound they pronounce in words like hahs (house) and ahr (our).
@shegoodster: You're a damn yankee, what would you know about the South?!?! Furthermore, my initial comment was an opinion, which the last time I checked I was entitled to. So, you can cram it, ya damn yankee! Take yer momma's advice & keep yer trap shut, if you don't have anything nice to say!!!! Good day :P
@Sherr1923 Your original comment was more of a declaration. You said " I gotta say their southern accent/twang was spot on." When actually they're speaking with a western Pennsylvanian accent. Also, if what you said was an opinion, you would've said "I *think* their southern accent/twang was spot on.
Though... they probably don't spend much time on proper grammar in southern grade school, so its to be expected.
@Sherr1923 That's great...these guys have the Western PA accent. I don't know what you're listening to but the whole point of these videos is their spot on impressions (maybe not impressions?) of Yinzers. I don't hear any 'southern twang' here.
Loooove it!!! ;) As someone who wuz born n raised in the South, I gotta say their Southern accent/twang is spot on! And yeah we really do talk n sound like this...lolz ;) I loooove tha South! Southern born n Southern bred, & when I die I'll be Southern dead!
Hey! My sister was Goldilocks at Story Book Forest way back when. I was snow white and my friend worked games.(They were rigged.) A cute kid we all had crushes on worked the coaster. I didn't get ta go ta Idlewild this year and I'm depressed. This episode is brilliant!
We went to Idlewild for graduation to Jr. High School way back. I puked on the Round -Up, the anti-gravity spinning machine. The puke ran back all through my hair! But it was ok, because we jumped out of the row boats in the lake, sawm up an pushed a boat over with girls from our class in & dunked them. Can't get away with that shit nowdays. See yins later!
The Greg & Donny series continues to impress me. Their comedy is not of the one liner variety nor is it outlandish, but I find myself laughing all the way through. Their comic genius comes from the not so subtle reality of Johnstowner's. Keep up the great work.
missy sounds like she's straight outta altoona, pa
she does the accent the best, it's more natural for her.

I have heard yuns used both as plural and singular, and a variation, "Yuns-all" to emphasise a buncha people.
Mosparx78 2 months ago
yuinz is supposed to be plural. isn't it?

Idlewild sucks. except for story book forest and the big ass ball pit and soak zone. Just go the extra hour to Kennywood.
