Between Bush and Obama, our debt has gone up so high in the last 6 months that my grandchildren will be paying it off. More money printed in ONE DAY than we've printed since 1776. When you watch Faux News, consider the source, they are no better than any other media outlet. They just lean the opposite direction.
Yes these street demonstrations draw out all sorts of people. the free coffee and donuts crowd, the filthy people, the loonies, the nutcases, the schizoids etc. but they are not what this particular demonstration is about at its' core. It is about socialism and spending beyond our wildest fears. it is real and it will be around for awhile. tax revenues are down 25% in San Diego now. They will go down more. Why? Keep the government from spending OUR money on these socialist projects.
Maybe if people would stop jumping to conclusions first and a least LISTEN to facts and NOT opinions and stop listening to main stream news some sense might actually go through those thick skulls
Actually police estimates are that anywhere between 1,000 and 3,500 people attended the rally at any given time. With the majority there at around 1:00. After 1:30 the crowd dwindled as the wind picked up. Contrary to what the news people are reporting, we weren't protesting against Obama. Bush was just as much to blame if not more. We just believe smaller government is better government. Sort of what our founders believed.

What Taxes are they protesting? Any taxes you paid by today are still under the Bush tax code.
People making 250,000 Dollars are going to get a tax cut and the 'Rich' are going to pay 3% more than they currently are.
BTW, this 3% increase for the 'rich' will still be 10% LESS that they paid under Ronald Reagan.
