  • hard to believe i live here...........

  • @francinityshiniya As in The Badlands National Park or South Dakota?

  • South Dakota is beautiful and I feel like I'm part of the video! Thank you so very much for sharing with us! Hugs and woofs from your friend Harley Dog :-)

  • Amazing!!! We are planning on going here for the first time from the midwest next June....Any recommendations on how to plan our day here? Is there lodging close by? We will be on our way to yellowstone but would like to take the time to stop by here as well.

    Thanks for sharing!!!

  • @rolmos213 From what I recall there isn't any lodging real close to the Badlands entrance we went into. Where we came out of the Badlands there is a city called Wall where the famous Wall Drug is and I know there are some places to stay there. So you would have to drive past it first to stay at Wall unless you stayed more east of Badlands. There are so many places to stop in Badlands I'm sure you could spend nearly a day just seeing everything and its very windy most of the time. Enjoy!

  • @MoviesMusicNature I went to Mt.Rushmore, the Crazy Horse memorial, the Badlands, and Wall a few weeks after you did. I took lots of pictures. It was windy and I was there the whole day as well.

  • @rolmos213 Rapid City, SD is the closest major town to there. It's probably abou 40 miles or so up highway 44 northwest out of the Badlands. I believe there is a KOA campground very close to the entrance to Badlands National Park.

  • Wow! Some beautiful scenery there.

  • @dacman17 It really was an Awe inspiring experience here at Badlands. Amazing at all the formations all over the place for miles and miles... Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

  • That's some amazing footage!! You just put it on my list of places to visit. The land and sky really put on a show for your visit. Just gorgeous. The music was perfect. Really peaceful to watch ... but, at any moment, I was expecting to see some smoke signals on the horizon. (-; Again, amazing video.

  • @KJ4TUG Thank You! :-) I'm glad you enjoyed. It is a fantastic place to visit and I would recommend it to anyone. While you see it here on video you just can't get the feel of it as it is in person. To see how many miles this place covers and how vast everything is is just breathtaking. I would love to go back here someday and spend more time there and maybe stop at a few more places. There are many places to stop and look around, we may have stopped at half of them?

  • Hi Chris, It is a pleasure to see a lovely capture from you. It seems such a spectacular place. The jagged rock outcrops and the landscape is astonishing. It really has such breathtaking views and makes you wonder how small we are when we look at these marvels of nature which have exisited for millions of years. Great stuff Chris and thanks for sharing and wish you a blessed week ahead..

  • @lmmsl Hi Menu... I couldn't of said it any better than you. It is amazing to see what the earth offers us and how long things have been around in the making to see such beauty from them in our lives. The more I see makes me want to get out there and travel even more. It was nice to see your comments :-) Thanks for stopping by...

  • Wow, what a spectacle. Looks like a wonderful place to explore. I honestly have nothing to use as a previous reference for this place. Would I love to spend a few days right there. Very, very interesting.

  • @kookiemoose It is indeed a beautiful place in many ways and the formations are wonderful to look at. It would be very interesting to spend some time there hiking around also and they don't seem to care where you walk. People were walking all around these formations to my surprise. I know it is a place you would love to explore for sure.. Thanks for stopping by..
