  • In my studies i'm finding that sociapath/anti social disorder are very similar to this....how are they different. My situations sounds just like this but also like the other. Confused.....but understanding whats going on a ton better.

  • @530BigBen I guess one of the differences that come to mind is that individuals with BPD seek out relationships with others then reject the acceptance, love, affection they receive and/or perceive. Individual with BPD repeat this cycle with the same person and/or others, and are unable to make the connect of their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. DBT tackles this behavior and assist the individual in connect their thoughts, feelings and behaviors while learning social skills in a group setting.

  • Its difficult to use mindfulness when you are" stuck" in the very environment that has contributed to a good portion of the BPD. This video is a very helpful start. Thank you.

  • @jayel71 Absolutely. Just like learning to ride a bike, mindfulness takes practice.
