Using this video, some common sense, and my brain I was able to install Continuum 6.1. Also was the first time using my JIG and it ruled. The steps are pretty much identical in case anyone was wanting to do 6.1 not 5. Thanks again Josh!
Hey Josh great work btw, just flashed 6.1 with the 0.4.3 Talon kernel oc to 1.2 ghz on my and my wife's cappy and I must say it's one of the better roms out there, quick and stable. The only minor issue is, the first phone call placed after a reboot, I get a black screen, same occurs on my wife's cappy aswell. Other than that no complaints. Flashed darkys, dlev, fasty, miui, and cognition, Continuum is the best IMO. I also recommend people pick up your jig, saved me when I couldn't get into DLM!
Hey Josh, ditto with what jpra923 asked. It looks like the installation instructions have changed. It seems to require the flashing of Talon kernel before flashing the Rom.
I flashed a rom but its never gets off the boot screen and it cant go into download mode when i hold the volume buttons and the plug it in. I'f i have to buy a jig i will but i use my phone everyday so is there anyway i can get it into download mode??
Say example i want install this rom now i want to flash perception... do i have flash back to 2.1,,, then reinstall the bootloader for 2.3 then flash the rom
lol.. what was that you kinda mumbled at around 10:03.. something about spb mobile shubblet or something?? lol. definitely a Launcher Pro guy, but now you got me curious about whatever it is you said... don't keep me in suspense!! ;-)
The screen goes off when you make a call and does not come back on when you take the phone from the ear. You need to pass your hand in front of the proximity sensor to get the screen back on.

Really enjoy your work. Sadly sold my Captivate but moved on to Nexus S. Would you be doing videos on Nexus S inherent future?
