Yes this is the larger of the five boxes that is part of the synth that we built from 1974-81. We have a channel video4dvd that has a few other live videos on it from the 1970's such as Group 87 and see Suburban Lawns. It was an 8 level keyer and 4 level soft fader-keyer. Each layer had 720 degrees of color to work with. Also EVERYTHING can be controlled by sound - patterns, color, key levels - both pitch and amplitude. Also, the last I tried - it still works. First live VJ in SF and LA.

The album can be downloaded off a random torrent. Hardly killing an industry when the album's out of print. But pretty bad marketing move on MCA that this album never got the marketing it deserved, it's a gem like.

Sleep Convention has always been one of my all-time favorite albums. I still have it on vinyl...though I haven't had a turntable for years. :)

It would be great to have Sleep Convention on CD.

I'm 16, so I can't exactly say I have many memories rushing back...but I came across this album in a random torrent of rare 80's albums, and I was so impressed. It's a crime this album wasn't huge, considering the time it was released, it should have been. All I can say is that I love listening to it!

How did you know about Dane's band? I am curious - who are you? I did the video. It is so much fun to see that people cared about the unknown stuff we did, but I loved this one of Dane's best, and that is why I did not post the other ones we did. But, yes, Dane has them on his site.
