She's not really a bad interviewer. He wasn't giving her much. He was older and didn't elaborate and that's very hard for an interviewer. I do love Don Knotts.
There was an ironic and hilarious line in the 1994 film "Serial Mom" where some kids buy a 3-d portrait of Don Knotts, and the guy exclaims gleefully "fuckin Don Knotts!"
I remember Mr. Furley and Jack in the kitchen and Jack was telling him about something about being in the navy on a ship, and Mr. Furley replied back "Was it a 'ferry boat'"?... That's when I started watching the show and all it's re-runs!!!
If I did the interview, my first question would be, ...Don you're a HUGE tv star, an Iconic comedy actor.
Your Barney Fife character has been impersonated by comedians more than any other person in history. Please, can you go into the Barney Fife character and do some of your favorite lines from the show to kick off our time together.
@shmuli9 Seen that! Gr8 movie if one thinking about John Waters directing with Katleen Turner and Sam Waterson about true story in Baltimore or different? (actually meat to reply to shmuli9 there...)
yeah you outlived John Ritter by 3 years
