Actually I had tickets to the Wiltern venue but the Echoplex was supposed to be the last show. If it hadn't been for the Wiltern venue being rescheduled I wouldn't have been at the last show. Hell, I even flew out to LA twice because it got canceled/rescheduled, lol.

Guess it was karma/fate/something... :D

What kind of mic are you using on your camera, because no one I know can pull off that good of audio at a concert.

I believe he just uses the onboard mic. The audio and video are awesome either way.

I actually use the Canon DM-100, it's the directional mic that fits in any recent Canon camcorder's Mini Advanced Shoe port. The mic has three settings:

-Mono Shotgun

-90° Stereo

-120° Stereo

Typically for concerts I use the 90° Stereo setting. It is a nice mic but a bit pricey, I think I spent around $170 on it.
